The Scrub Campsite located in remnant vegetation (14 minutes from Victor Harbor ) is a rustic self check in campsite as the owners do not reside near the campsite.
Campers choose their site in the designated camp spots. Sites are not allocated unless by prior arrangement.
Persons under 18, youth groups, school groups or scout groups etc. are not permitted to book at the campsite.
A communal camp kitchen, water tanks and compost toilet is available for campers use. Fire pits are located at each site. Campers will be advised of fire bans.
Wood can be purchased from the self service white ibc container for $15 for 20kgs.
Please adhere to the camp rules which are posted at each campsite.
The campsite is located on the Heysen Trail and close to many Lower Fleurieu Peninsula beaches and attractions. The popular Belicious Cafe is a 45 minute walk.
Whole campsite bookings can be made by contacting the owners.
We ask that campers respect all other campers, the land that they are camping on and follow the campers motto - Leave nothing but your footprints.

This is a campsite for those who want the best of both worlds, the serenity of the Australian Bush, but close to all the modern conveniences and holiday activities.
Surrounded by the Hindmarsh Valley National Park and a working sheep farm, you’ll be sharing this campsite with the local kangaroos, and if you’re lucky, an echidna or two. There’s a creek running through, and vibrant bird life.
Nearby is a beautiful bush-walk through the Mount Billy Conservation Park.
Situated half way between Myponga and Victor Harbor, only 15 minutes to either, there are many activities available. Kayaking on the Myponga reservoir, or surfing, swimming and sun bathing at either Horseshoe Bay or Waitpinga.
Urimbirra wildlife park is less than 10 minutes away, and around the corner is the Softfoot Alpaca Farm, with the on-site Swagman Restaurant. Also in Hindmarsh Valley is the lovely restaurant Lost Phoenix Farm.
Over your stay, you will likely encounter our two dogs, Lola and Sherlock, who very much enjoy meeting our guests. Lola is particularly fond of children and loves to play fetch with them, whilst Sherlock will try charm you out of your sausages. Despite what he says, he is well fed at home. They are both good at giving high fives. If you would prefer not to see the dogs, please just let us know and we will keep them under strict supervision.
An RV dump point is located on Adelaide Road, Victor Harbor, within the tourist information bay, 200m south of Waterport Road, approximately 10 minutes from the site.

Great little spot in Hindmarsh Valley, nice and quiet, well, except for the thousands of lovely birds! Lorikeets, rosellas, magpies and kookaburras were just a few that serenaded us throughout our stay. A shy kangaroo stopped by but wasn't too impressed that we had camped on the nice green grassy section, so bounced away. Very relaxing and enjoyable weekend all around.

What an incredible piece of heaven. It was our very first time camping and the groundskeeper Guy was so nice. He showed us a few ropes (literally) and assisted making our stay the absolute best. I am definitely coming back.
Quick note - kitchen and bathroom facilities were always clean and tidy.
Also, you can see NY fireworks from campsite 8 :)

Marc and Alison’s land was peaceful, well maintained, and exactly what we were looking for. The site felt private and quiet, surrounded by nature, which made it perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Everything was clearly explained, easy to access, and thoughtfully set up. Marc and Alison were friendly, responsive, and respectful of privacy while still being available if needed. We felt very welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a calm and stress-free camping experience.

Cooinda was incredible. We stayed at site 2B, a premium spot with power access and a very spacious area. The view was absolutely stunning.
The bathrooms and showers were always spotless, and the camp kitchen is large and well equipped (you just need to bring your own utensils).
The staff were very friendly and welcoming from start to finish. It’s a shame we couldn’t stay longer — we’ll definitely be back!

We loved our stay at Koala Coast Retreat Farm! It was definitely our favourite on our SA road trip, not only because of the beautiful land it sat on but also the hospitality of Heath. We were welcomed and given a tour of the site and the facilities, which exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed the walking routes, which were tough at points but provided great views and lots of kangaroo sitings. Sadly no koalas for us, but Heath showed us incredible photos of them up close that we had just missed. Definitely recommend booking, and thanks again Heath!

Great location, views and walking trials. Site has 3 donkeys, a horse, kangaroos and koala’s plus a bbq, darts, air hockey and indoor/outdoor seating, two toilets and a coin operated shower. Heath goes above and beyond to ensure you have a comfortable. Would definitely return and recommend to others.

We loved this campsite. The small number and space between the sites, combined with the well-maintained grass and native tress and scrubs made it feel private. Facilities are pretty basic but functional. Easy access into town and easy to manoeuvre vans around.

What a primo spot! 3min drive to Victor harbour, beach and shops. The caretakers who were running the campsite for a few weeks were so lovely! Amenities closeby. Camp kitchen has all basic needs. Camp spot had incredible view of the ocean!

Nice grassy spot with a good amount of space for me and my partner and two doggos. All sites were full but it was spread out enough and everyone kept to their own space so did not feel too cramped. Clean bathrooms and the camp kitchen looked handy (although we did not use it). Would recommend!
