The View is pet-friendly and offers all the modern cons needed for a comfortable stay. Surrounded by lovely gardens, bird life, river frontage Which is flooded at the moment, but you can still walk down and check out the high waters.
The View is 4 km from Paringa and 9 km from the main town of Renmark on the Murray River. There is a bus service that can take you into town stopping me off at many local attractions including Wilkadene the Woolshed Brewery.

Rivershack is located in beautiful garden surroundings on the Murray river in Paringa. Located just 4 km from the beautiful town called Renmark.
Just a short walk 200 meters down to your very own riverbank, speedboats welcome, canoe for hire lots of wildlife, koalas, echidnas, lots of bird life, fishing allowed, campfire in winter.
The guests will have access to the beautiful garden area with all BBQ facilities, (please note there is no oven or stove in the shack) small back yard for your furry friends, pets allowed inside, also a short walk down to your very own riverbank about 200 meters which has a campfire and bbq plate for cooking, speedboats welcome and canoe hire. We also have two mini ponies Boo and Lady.
We also have Riley the tame sheep and his girlfriend the black-faced sheep
The Rivershack is close to the very famous woodshed brewery Wilkadene just 10 km away, and can also go by boat.
Lovely bedroom the Rivershack is situated on the Murray River in paring sleeps up to 4 people ( 2 adults and 2 children)
The Rivershack is about 200 meters from the riverbank, you can walk down or drive, the road is only really suitable for 4WD, all-wheel drive, and front wheel drive.

It was a great spot by the river. We kayaked, fished, swam in the river and cooked our dinner on a little firepit under the gum trees. There was a compost toilet on site and the area was flat and easy to set our caravan up on. Berri town was 5 minutes drive away perfect for last minute supplies.

We loved our stay. Michelle was so accommodating and were left to enjoy the serenity of the river. We swam, SUP boarded, used the boat and tried to fish - but we are not the best fishing experts! Our furbaby loved and enjoyed her stay.

We just stayed here for a week over the Christmas period, drove 14 hours from Sydney to get there, I wouldn’t hesitate to re book. Was totally worth the drive. Beautiful views, good fishing and amazing hosts. 10/10

It’s a great spot to stop over for a night. The cooler spot by the river was canopied by gumtrees so I felt it wasn’t a safe option to camp beneath them. There was a flat area up from the site, along with a compost toilet, which I used. Some prickles in the grassed areas so take care if you have kids/pets. The site is viewable to the nearby road. Whilst traffic wasn’t an issue this did remove some security comfort for me being a solo traveller.

I had the best quick night away in Gurra Gurra! The site was peaceful, well shaded in the heat and secluded from other campers. My Jimny parked up right by the river where my dog and I spent the afternoon soaking in the river breeze! An amazing stay and a great host.

Lovely private place to unwind by the river. Managed to get our single axle off road camper nice and close to the river after some back and forth. Hosts are very welcoming and easy to communicate with. Would definitely put on the list to visit again.

Amazing views and a great location only 5 minutes from Berri- but still a feeling of isolation. Heaps of wildlife- birds, lizards, fish and occasional visit from the very cute campsite mascot Willow (the dog!). Highly recommended and looking forward to visiting again one day.

Highly recommended! Great, friendly communication, excellent instructions and only 5 minutes from Berri. We have a 12ft hybrid van with high clearance so were able to set up camp right on the bank of the river on the only flat section which was perfect. Bigger, or low clearance vans would need to stay up the top where there is heaps of room. We didn't use the toilet but it's there if you need it. The site is very private and peaceful. Thanks Michelle for having us, can't wait to come back.

The camp was great there is a large flat area for big tents and caravans.
There are great areas right on the river that aren't 100% flat.
The camp was dog friendly.
Fishing is a little difficult as there are a lot of snags but doable.
The toilet is a nice touch. Its effective a large compost bin with a nice seat and saw dust to reduce smell. There were no issues using it and it was appreciated.
The camp has great signage making it a breeze to find the spots for camp.
There is a great campfire area on the river recommend purchasing the firewood from the host.
The only thing to note is the area can get dusty with high winds.
I highly recommend this camp is very close to Berri and Renmark with all the modern conveniences.

We booked at the last minute as we were passing through and the site was perfect. Close to Berri and easy to find. Right by the river and secluded. Very picturesque. It would be a lovely spot to stay for a few days.

Such a nice and peaceful spot. Beautiful surroundings and the perfect place to spend time by yourself or with family. Michelle, the owner, was really friendly and helpful, she gave me tips on good fishing spots and even offered the rowboat, which made the trip even better. It was also a bonus that her dog came by to visit every day. Highly recommended.

Very comfortable campsite, close to the riverbank. No one else around with the occasional visit from their family dog Willow. 10 mins from Berri makes it very convenient.
