Ideally located just a couple of kilometres from Robe on the Southern Ports Highway (road side number #4437), The Four Mile Farm offers spaces for self contained vans, camper trailers and tents, in a tranquil ten acre rural setting.
Only minutes to the Robe township, restaurants, cafes, shopping and Robe's famous Long Beach, The Four Mile has an abundance of wide open spaces to find a private nook to park up for a night - or a week.
New facilities include a utility room and ensuite featuring a hot shower and flush toilet, located inside the front shed, as well as a new shower block with two hot showers and an additional flush toilet, just a short stroll from the camping area. (Showers are coin operated - bring a good supply of $2 coins).
Bring a chair and relax round the community fire pit in the evening (fire season excepted). Watch the sun go down, the moon rise and spent the evening around the fire, star-gazing at the southern sky.
If you'd like a night out in town, Robe Runner Shuttle offers a service to and from The Four Mile.

Situated on 100 acres 5km north of Robe town, and a very very short drive (or 2km walk) to beautiful Long Beach, the Robe Camel Farm is in the perfect location.
Camper trailers, rooftop tents, and small campervans are suited to the Shady 1 and Shady 2 sites. These two sites are nestled amongst beautiful gums. Caravans and large motorhomes are suited to The Paddock site. The Paddock is an open site near the tourist shop. Perfect for larger set ups and great for solar.
You are free to watch the camels in the paddock from behind the fenceline. If you are after a more up and personal experience with the beautiful beasts, you can book a Morning Milking Tour or a Camel Safari in our electric buggy. Book these experiences on the website www.humpalicious.com.au.
Robe Camel Farm is a very relaxed environment. We will be carrying on daily jobs such as camel feeding, building, training etc. Guests are welcome to participate in daily farm life if they choose to!
Note, we do keep beehives on the property, so if you are badly allergic to bees, please come prepared. Dog friendly but must be well controlled. Campfires not permitted.

Our property is located in Canuda, the terrain is hilly with several clear, flat spots good for camping. The entire 33 acres is available for you to explore on a nature walk. The property also has a bath with a hand pump from which you can pump beautiful clear drinking water. There may be some fine particles in the water which will settle or can be filtered out.
There are a number of good camping locations near the bath. Any clear area within the boundary is available to camp in.
Being a declared scrub block it is undisturbed and both brown and tiger snakes are present but if you leave them alone they will mind their own business.
Small fires are permitted, only where a fire ring exists and out of fire ban season. Check listing details for more information. Gas fires and BBQ are not permitted during total fireban.
The Canunda National Park is only a 4km drive from the property and has plenty of stunning beaches and beautiful walks you can enjoy. It is also a popular fishing spot and has some great 4WD tracks to explore.

Had a great time! The site was great, lots of space, private and peaceful. Martin was great at communicating and offered any space that would work for our set up.
We saw some wildlife and really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings.
It was also a great base with lots to do nearby and a town close by for everything you might need. We would happily go back and continue exploring.

What a fantastic spot to spend a night or more!! The campsite (Shady 2) was perfect and the hobby farm with the Darcy the Donkey, Peacocks, Chooks and of course Camels was lovely! TJ the host was super friendly and you absolutely cannot stay without at least doing the Camel Safari!! Was so much fun and totally worth it. We will be back to try the Camel milking tour next! Thanks for having us. 100% recommend 🙂

We absolutely loved Four Mile Farm. Jacquie was an incredibly responsive and thoughtful host. There was plenty of space, and having easy access to toilets and a shower was a real bonus. We honestly couldn’t fault anything about our stay.
Just a heads-up that the wind can be quite strong at times, so we’d recommend a swag over a tent, especially larger tents

Disappointing experience, felt very misleading. The “toilets” are just a few unkept porta potties. At one stage the toilets were unflushable due to no water. The showers are a few drips of water which you have to pay $2 for 4 minutes to use (this is only mentioned on the day of the booking). There aren’t enough facilities to host the amount of people that they place on the campsite. Ended up leaving a day early along with many others who shared this experience.

We loved this bush space in a quiet spot just outside of Robe. There were a few others in the the other site, but the spaces feel private and spacious enough for our large van. We also bought a few things from the camel farm. Good stay. Enjoyed it!

Jacqui’s spot in Robe is excellent. Just down the road from the Robe town but quiet. Despite being near the road, it is not loud during the day or night. The facilities were basic but much appreciated. The hosts were very helpful, friendly and welcoming. Would be more than happy to stay again. A great, peaceful spot to use as your base for exploring Robe and the area.

The only problem is that every time you take a shower, you have to insert a two-dollar coin; it has to be a two-dollar coin specifically. That’s really annoying.

We loved staying at Robe Four Mile Rural Campsite. Easy to find, only 5mins drive to town and you don’t need 4x4 to access it. Jacqui was great and the process was easy and smooth. No allocated sites, you can choose your fave spot when you arrive and even though we went in peak season & it was fully booked, there was plenty of space :) there are a few toilets and hot showers are $2 for 4mins (coin operated). Us and our fur-babies loved this place and would definitely stay here again.

Plenty of space to find a camp spot. Toilets and showers were good. Had to pay $2 coin to use shower. We camped right before new years so was starting to get full when we left. Close to Robe and easy to get to. Jacqui was responsive. Was slightly more costly than I am used to paying on Hipcamp.

Before we even arrived, Jacqui provided us with helpful directions and tips on local highlights (where to eat, drink and what to see/do whilst in Robe).
Check in and out was easy, the paddocks were large enough that we didn’t hear any of the other campers after sunset. The facilities (toilets and showers) were very appreciated and well kept (cleaned on a daily basis).
During our first morning we also received some guidance on the nearby 4WD tracks and beach driving.
Highly recommend this site to friends and strangers 😊
