The Scrub Campsite located in remnant vegetation (14 minutes from Victor Harbor ) is a rustic self check in campsite as the owners do not reside near the campsite.
Campers choose their site in the designated camp spots. Sites are not allocated unless by prior arrangement.
Persons under 18, youth groups, school groups or scout groups etc. are not permitted to book at the campsite.
A communal camp kitchen, water tanks and compost toilet is available for campers use. Fire pits are located at each site. Campers will be advised of fire bans.
Wood can be purchased from the self service white ibc container for $15 for 20kgs.
Please adhere to the camp rules which are posted at each campsite.
The campsite is located on the Heysen Trail and close to many Lower Fleurieu Peninsula beaches and attractions. The popular Belicious Cafe is a 45 minute walk.

We camped here for 2 nights.
Loved the scenery and privacy. We saw a few kangaroos, rabbits and lots of birds. Close to waitpinga and Victor Harbour. The camping area is near a road but traffic driving through is scarce. Will definitely come back again ✨

Site 1 was perfect for us with kids as both the kitchen and toilets were really close by. We didnt have to lug the gas stove, tables and chairs with us as the Kitchen had all these. It has a gas flat grill plate BBQ which was great for us. The space is huge and the kids had a blast running around. It did get a bit cooler there at night time which we didn't expect so pack some warm clothes (we went 2nd weekend of Feb). There are 3 adorable dogs that visited on and off and we played "fetch" with them. Kylie was lovely - she popped in to say hi and also gave my friend duct tape to fix her pole which accidentally snapped. And she also handed my friend some fresh eggs which my friend enjoyed thoroughly 😊 All in all, a great stay and I'll be coming back soon when we can have a fire.

Wonderful secluded campsite with excellent privacy between sites. Lots of bird life. We didn’t use the shower or kitchen, but the composting loo was great.
We’ll definitely be coming back to spend more time just relaxing away from the city.

Beautiful little spot if you like having your own space away from others. Everything was clean and tidy. The main road is nearby but traffic is minimal, so it stayed nice and quiet. Great base for exploring Deep Creek, Second Valley, Rapid Bay and Victor Harbor.

Was a perfect spot, lots of trees kept the temperature down on the really hot, long weekend. Was a great spot to enjoy the peacefulness of nature. Easy to find and not too far from a great distillery and short drive to Victor Harbour. Would definitely come back again.

Classic camp spot with beautiful surroundings in the idillyc Inman Valley! Great central location between Victoria Harbor, Normanville & some of the best beaches in SA! Kylie and her daughters are gracious hosts and welcomed me with open arms! Definitely recommend for those seeking peace and quiet and a restful night under the stars! - also, don't miss brunch at Bellalisious , a roadside crepe house , just two minutes drive down the road for good coffee, ambiance and friendly staff and locals!!

Unfortunately due to hot weather we haven’t actually been able to stay at the site. However the team have been brilliant in understanding and have allowed us to rebook. We look forward to staying in April. Inman Valley is a prime spot so I’m sure we will love the site.

great range of sites available with lots of privacy between tent spots. Bookings are capped so you'll never be surrounded by other groups! Eco toilet is MUCH nicer than a traditional drop toilet - and somehow didn't smell though we were there in the peak of summer! Great spot to star gaze and escape from the city :) Victor harbour not far at all if you need to pop in to town :)

It was a nice, quiet little place be good to take your kids to as they had a few swings and sports equipment that is free to use the camping spots were cute and it is out the way of roads and traffic so it nice and peaceful and a good escape from the city

Great off grid spot. Quiet with plenty of wildlife. Great night skies showing all the stars.
Rain water tank on site to refill. Good toilet block. A shower in the disabled toilet can be used.
Site 3 is further from the toilet block than 1 and 2 but only a 2 minute walk

The most peaceful and private Hipcamp we’ve had the pleasure of enjoying - the perfect tonic after a busy year! Lovely wildlife, the occasional curious sheep or horses nearby and didn’t see a soul!
Set in a fabulous region for exploring, our hosts could not have been more helpful when asked - and left us in complete privacy - we never saw them and are so grateful that they offer this site for sole use!!
Would easily have stayed another week and will certainly be returning for yet another wonderful break.

Loved our stay at The Scrub Campsite. Compost toilet was tidy and toilet paper supplied. Common area with sink, BBQ and table and the play equipment for kids was great. Was sad to see some other campers not respecting the leave it better motto.
