Vans larger than 18ft will need experienced drivers who have towed in tighter locations and know how the wheels track behind the tow vehicle. Larger vans will need to take care. Under 18ft vans will easily fit, but care also needed. Family hobby farm on six green acres in the historical town of Clarendon (Toondilla), just half an hour south of Adelaide. Set in a gully with a winter creek (Willow Creek) running through (dry in warmer months). Conveniently located within walking distance to the main street of Clarendon - five minutes to the Bakery and 10 minutes to the Royal Oak Hotel and General Store! The property offers the best views of Clarendon via a short walk to the top paddock. There is a limit of 2 private, protected campsites near the creek, each well-maintained and level, with scattered gum trees that provide lovely shade in the morning and afternoon. Camp Toondilla is set up for self-contained campers who bring their own camp toilet and take all waste with them when they go. Well-behaved pets are welcome. ( you may also see a koala . ( however drop bears are almost extinct here ) Secluded but connected ... Why travel more than you have to to escape and get back to basics? You can set up camp and be sipping a wine or hot beverage in the bush tranquility in less than an hour from most suburbs . The campsite is set on a hill with a view . It is not a parkland but offers a true taste of nature with native grass and vegetation . approx 15 mins from Magill and about 40 mins to the CBD / small caravans ok . Bushwalk on the property or Rock climb at nearby Morialta falls / hike Cleland / Mt Lofty or use the Grove as a base to expore the nearby Heysen trail , the many bakeries , eateries , wineries, breweries and distilleries nearby . We'd love people to come an enjoy our little farm 6km out the back of Middleton, SA. There are no facilities, power or access to water available but for anyone self contained you'll love it. We can offer you farm fresh EGGS pretty cheap though for breakfast. Check in from time from 1.00pm, but touch base if your'e early, we'll stretch for for you. Super close to some of the best beaches in the state. Middleton for surfing 🏄 Goolwa for fishing 🎣 Port Elliot for swimming 🏊‍♀️ Rates include you getting to hang out with the horse (Nick) who love a stray carrot or 10 and our beautiful sheep including Kevin (the white sheep of the family, you'll get the joke when you meet him) We do allow dogs on leads as long as they are ok with animals. Great little spot off the main road and perfect distance to Clarendon township which offers a great pub and bakery. We were able to allow our dog to wonder without issue and would be great area for families. Would stay again.

A lovely peaceful place to stay in Victor Harbor, with lovely water views, well kept sites and very welcoming hosts. We loved the views, the amenities and also being in a quiet location a little out of the town. The hosts and the amenities were great and we highly recommend to others. .

This spot is a lovely hidden gem. Surrounded by lush green trees and hillside for privacy, I would highly recommend. We even had a little visitor (koala) the first night. The only thing I would say is we found it very hard (with our 22.6ft off road van), to get out, due to a overhanging gum tree at the exit. It was mm from hitting. Other than that, highly recommend.

I absolutely loved my stay at Cooinda, so much so I booked again before I even packed up and left! I was on site 1 which was fantastic for my dogs as it is fully inclosed. Over the 4 nights I had a rotation of great friends come and stay and they too loved everything. Cooinda is so pretty, peaceful and spacious with great facilities. The grass is so lush and green and the view towards the ocean was lovely. Can't wait to my next trip!

Great quiet spot for our 19’6 caravan for a couple of nights. Steve the host was amazing and made us feel right at home. One of the best stays we’ve had on our lap and will be back again here next time we are around. This spot is a perfect central location for exploring the Adelaide Hills region. Only 2 spots makes this feel really private too.

Great little spot, very tranquil & protected by a hill. Great sitting there watching the kangaroos, koalas & possums. Great location from Adelaide. The Host Steven is very knowledgeable on the area. Will definitely stay here again.
