"Murphy's" is a newly renovated three bedroom cottage which was once part of Tamrookum Homestead built by Robert Collins and family in the 1860s. The beautiful beaches on the Sunshine Coast, Maleny, Montville and Hinterland hot spots are all within 30 minutes from the property. Enjoy a campfire in our designated area when restrictions are not in place. Small quiet dogs welcome by prior request and must be on a lead.

Set up your car, camper, trailer or tent in this cute spot with a fireplace, chairs and tables available. There is a walking trail around the paddock where you will see lots of kangaroos and koalas. Our horse who lives in this paddock might also come up and say hello. Guests are required to be fully self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash and under owners control whilst on the property. We are close to town and nearby gas stations.

You can choose from either Lakefront sites which give you uninterrupted waterfront, wetlands sites where the aquatics birdlife on display is magnificent, it’s like your own live doco unfolding! We also have sites specifically for off road camper type trailers where you can nestle in out of the way. Are you more of a pitch a tent type camper? That’s fine there are some very cool out of the way tent sites which offer complete seclusion also. You can walk along the creek, take a swim, do some fishing for bass, watch the huge variety of birdlife, light a campfire or simply relax and take in the serenity. We are only a 5 minute drive from town and shops. Caloundra is only a 40 minute drive away also.
