Several little cafes restaurants and a local pub are also in the bay. There is a great bus service on the island and nearest bus stop is less than 2 km away. Steve was very kind. He gave us great tips about what to do on the island and Australia in general. He took his time explaining everything and even as a bonus gave us electricity, which for the price and heat was incredible! The hidden corner is truly hidden and we saw some wallabies hopping around in the evenings before coming in and heard lots of other wildlife whilst being in a quiet spot. Overall, can recommend.

Great site,private and well protected. Quiet and peaceful with a plethoria of birdlife! Easy access to multiple water taps, Steve let me connect to a powercord run from his house to keep my fridge cool in the 30+ degree days. The only aspect to be aware of the is no shade, but if you have awnings its sorted, great for solar panels tho. Steve is friendly and knowledgeable about all the good stuff on Magnetic island!
