We are only a 15 minute drive from the beach town of Yeppoon, which is also the gateway to The southern Great Barrier Reef and fringing reefs of Great Keppel Island.

We loved our stay at the veggie patch. The amenities are spectacular! Easy access for caravan and plug into power. We had some beautiful company from the two dogs. Our kids adored all the green frogs at night. So quiet and peaceful. Wish we could over stayed longer.

The Old Veggie Patch at Laurel Bank Farm was the perfect place to be based for a few days to explore the greater Rockhampton area. The amenities are really something. Jo's directions were very clear and her level of communication surrounding our booking was exemplary.

Really lovely spot, stunning view of the sunset and there were beautiful birds flying around the camp. The showers were a god send, really nice and just what was needed after the drive!!
The directions to the camp are spot on and the welcome and tour around was really appreciated (Poppy the dog was so so cute!)

Such a lovely site, Jo and Dave are very friendly and helpful, the dogs are absolutely the star of the show though. The site is peaceful and immaculate, and the amenities block is perfect. Very country homes style. If I wasn’t on a whistle stop tour I would definitely stay for longer.

We had a really nice time at Laurel Bank! It was our first time camping at an australian farm and it was just as beautiful as we imagined! We especially enjoyed the beautiful sunset, the calm atmosphere and the very warm welcome of Jo, Dave and the lovely dogs!

I recently stayed at Jo & Dave’s campsite, and it was absolutely fantastic! The location is beautiful and peaceful — perfect for a relaxing night. All the amenities were neat, clean, and well maintained. Jo & Dave were wonderful hosts, very friendly and welcoming. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely love to come back again.
