The added touches to this stay made it a perfect romantic weekend getaway. The old woodfire place that was perfect to cook in, the decorative wall hangings, the added extra coffees and hot chocolates, all the plates and silverware you will need. The outdoor fire pit, the picnic table underneath decorative lights. It was a magical weekend for two adults and a pup. Only a short drive outside of Edmonton and easy to find. ( 1 hour ) Highly recommend and look forward to going back.

Beautiful place, cute goats and welcoming owners. We were notified that the place was not ready for us yet, as we booked a place a bit too late. Making the host ( Rachel and her husband) worried that it will not be up to our standard. Matter of fact, it was beyond our expectations regardless. They provided us with a nice grill, water and a clean table, they even wanted to give us some fresh eggs! Hope to come visit soon again, as we were not able to thank you in person. We had such a wonderful stay at this cabin! The place is amazing, quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. Guillermo, their lovely dog, was a highlight of the trip. He gave us a little “tour” of the property and played happily with our dog, who was thrilled to run off-leash. My partner and I absolutely loved the cabin. Beautiful details, comfortable bed, nice touches and everything you need to set up a little camp kitchen on the porch. The property is beautiful, the cabin is surrounded by trees. The little outhouse is very cute and does not smell like an outhouse because of the composting toilet. It even has a bag shower. I wish we could have stayed longer, I hope we'll be back!

This is the second time I've visited. Camped last year and stayed in the cabin this year. Absolutely love this space. Very quiet and peaceful. We loved camping at the Secret Sanctuary! We brought our own glamping and got the breakfast delivered to your site as an add on. Absolutely delicious! The whole experience and vibe of this place is really something special. We were looking for a getaway close to the city that offered privacy (which is hard to find these days) and were not disappointed. We want to bring the whole family next time we come! The hot shower and compost toilets were great, the trails and nearby lakes were awesome for exploring, and Denika and her family were so friendly and helpful. 5 stars! Also make sure to check out the store for amazing salves, delicious teas, and cute pottery!

This was our second time staying here in the cabin and it was great. We were worried about privacy with having someone booked the tenting site but we barely knew they were there. The brush really filled in compared to our stay back in May. The hosts were just as nice, friendly and responsive as our first stay. Love that our dogs get along and I didn’t have to worry about mine. She had a blast running around and playing.
