QUIET, and NATURALLY BEAUTIFUL. 7 isolated camp sites to cater for a relaxing self contained getaway. The beach track has good 4WD access and is very quiet with secluded private camp sites along the track.
Group site is set back 50m from the beach and can only be booked by 1 group at a time. It is a large flat area suitable for those traveling with friends.

The diversity of the property showcases an amazing variety of vegetation, birdlife, and butterflies. Many walking trails allow for bird watchers and photographers to explore the diversity at Tide Water Park.
I'm sorry to all, we have to reiterate this, but we have to due to some filthy campers. NO TOILET, NO ENTRY. We are disgusted to have to pick up used toilet paper. Sorry for the bluntness. A shovel does not cover as a toilet! Our place is a beautiful place and we will not allow this kind of degradation.
The Beach is classified as a Green zone under Qld law which means fishing is excluded along the beach. You can fish at the creek mouth to the north. There is also creek access through the property but no camping there. A small boat can be launched and retrieved.
Self sufficient camping only. No toilets, showers, dump points or power provided at this time.
Horse yards are available if you wish to bring your horse for rides along the beach, obviously all at your own risk.
Well behaved, quiet dogs are allowed, and must be kept within the campsite unless your walking them. Be respectful of others.
Things to do here include, beach access, horse riding, bird watching, fishing, crabbing see the turtles, A small wet land walk. Or just sit back and watch the beach change with the tide.
What to bring and not bring, Insect repellent or be prepared to cover up when sandflies and midges are out. Torches, Sunscreen, rubbish bags. No hunting allowed, No ATV's, side by sides, drones, guns or chainsaws. Generator usage in the afternoon and early evening.

Well ,it's that time of year again when the rains don't fall and we enter our dry season. There is still water in the creek for swimming, and water hobbies. Fires are still allowed in rock pits provided, but we also ask everyone to be more vigilant about their fires as well. Please ensure fires are put out before you go to sleep and also before you leave.
Ilbilbie Station is 1001 acres. There are no neighbors to annoy, as we reside at the end of Landells Road.
Our property is a small family-owned working cattle station. There is native wildlife, birds and kangaroos. Sit and relax, take a dip in the creek or explore the property.
There are some kayaks, SUP and large tyre tube at the creek for you to use.
Non-potable water can be used from the green tank on the hill , via gravity feed

This camp site was nothing short of brilliant. We absolutely loved it here from the huge expanse of green grass to the gorgeous creek setting. So much room to just pull up set up and start your own little fire in the fire pits provided. Gary & Carmen came around and greeted us in the afternoon, lovely people and their 2 horses that came for many visits and pats throughout the day made it one of my favourite stays on our trip. Highly recommend staying here if you want to enjoy a little piece of heaven ❤️

Wow what a surprise from a dry dusty road in the landscape cook by the sun you drive down through the creek bed and out the other side to this lush bowling green oasis. A beautiful creek with a flying fox and swing into the water. What a Gem.

We loved taking our van here. It was by the beach ,protected from the wind by trees and so private. You felt like you were the only one in this little piece of paradise. What made it perfect was being able to see turtles at low tide and watching the sunset at the creek. Paul looked after us so well.

Paul is a great host and to be able share this beautiful location was treat.
Camp-site is private, peaceful, cleared and level and just few steps to the beach. But still protected from those nasty winds that can get up on the coast.
Overall it's fantastic location with beautiful scenery. Our pick so far for Hipcamps.
