Ilbilbie Station is 1001 acres. There are no neighbors to annoy, as we reside at the end of Landells Road. Our property is a small family-owned working cattle station. There is native wildlife, birds and kangaroos. Sit and relax, take a dip in the creek or explore the property. As at 28/11/25 - our creek has dropped considerably due to farmers irrigating their crops just below us . You can still swim and use kayaks but we now advise NOT TO USE SWING OR ZIPLINE Please let me know if your going to be arriving after 5pm (scroll down further for full detailed instructions on how to get here)

Hey guys, Breaking news....... We have had rain. So the camp sites are begining to green up the track has improved. we are opening Track sites 3 and 4 and group sites. QUIET, and NATURALLY BEAUTIFUL. Our small coastal cattle property is right at the end of Gillinbin Creek Road. The beach has good 4 wheel drive access and is very quiet with secluded private camp sites. Sites are nestled in amongst native coastal vegetation that runs into tropical rain forests. I'm sorry to all, we have to reiterate this, but we have to due to some filthy campers. NO TOILET, NO ENTRY. We are disgusted to have to pick up used toilet paper. One more case of this will see camping cease here and your name hosted in lights as a filthy camper. Sorry for the bluntness. A shovel does not cover as a toilet! Our place is a beautiful place and we will not allow this kind of degradation. The Beach is classified as a Green zone under Qld law which means fishing is excluded along the beach. You can fish at the creek mouth to the north. There is also creek access through the property but no camping there. A small boat can be launched and retrieved. Self sufficient camping only. No toilets, showers, dump points or power provided at this time. Horse yards are available if you whish to bring your horse for rides along the beach, obviously all at your own risk. Well behaved, quiet dogs are allowed, and must be kept within the campsite unless your walking them. Be respectful of others. Areas are available for group Bookings, please message us and we can suggest the best sites for your group. Things to do here include, beach access (walks, drives), horse riding, bird watching, Fishing, Crabbing, A small wet land walk. Or just sit back and watch the beach change with the tide. What to bring and not bring, Insect repellent or be prepared to cover up when sandflies and midges are out. Torches, Sunscreen, rubbish bags. No hunting allowed, No ATV's, side by sides, drones, guns or chainsaws. Generator usage only in the afternoon and early evening. Additive activities available at site: - Bag of firewood - Crab pots - Seasonal animal experiences

You will need to be self-contained with own camping toilet (there are $1 showers available down the road a laundry, rubbish/recycling facilities)and a picnic table. This campsite suits travellers who need a safe place to stay overnight during their travels. We can refill your water tank (see Extras).

Wow what an amazing spot. We camped right next to the swimming hole and it was just such a great couple of days. There is a zip line and swing into the water that the kids that were also camping there loved. Lots of cows and horses which gave it a real farm stay. We wished we could have stayed longer. Friendly hosts and good comms. You won't be disappointed.

The peace and tranquility. Camp area well maintained and mowed. Kids enjoyed the horses as well. The space and choice to camp where you want. Many private places. Even though a number of people camping it was still quiet. The breeze blowing through was welcome.
