Midskinrick is a 40-acre waterfront property on Baffle Creek in Queensland. 70km north of Bundaberg, 125km south of Gladstone. This little piece of paradise, on the southern bank of Baffle Creek, is a great place to fish from the bank or launch your boat, crab, swim (in our dam), relax and enjoy the peace while watching the wildlife. Choose the unique modern self-contained Lodge or bring your caravan/camper/rooftop/swag/tent and book a camp site. There are 10 large family sized powered sites with a firepit available for each site (no water connection) situated near the dam. Access to, Hot showers (Small fee applies), Flushing toilets, Washing Machine (Small fee per load) and a Camp kitchen. The powered sites are approximately 400m from the riverbank. Confirming there are no water connections to these sites, please fill your tanks prior to coming, however; fresh water is available for drinking. Select Powered, do not add as an extra. In addition there are 7 large family sized unpowered sites with a firepit available for each, overlooking the river flats - Septic flushing toilets, Shower room (solar bag not supplied), Drinking water, Camp kitchen area, Firepits - bring your own wood or purchase from the owners (please do not source firewood from the roadside due to animal habitats). If you are after a quiet serine getaway on 40 acres, this property is for you. You are 4 minutes by car to Rules Beach where you can drive your 4WD with no permit necessary. You are 2 minutes to Baffle Creek Boat Ramp / Creek where fishing is great. You can Hire a boat from us ( boat license required) or a paddle board on the calm waters of the Creek. We have a filleting table and abundant water to wash vehicles. A Tavern, small convenience store and takeaway food is 10 minutes away at Baffle Creek Town. Turtle nesting on Rules Beach from November to March. Abundant bird life, wildlife and kangaroos. Close to the Historic town of 1770. We are off the Grid with 12v power, although there is a generator if you require to use the 240v. We have over a hundred mango trees and a couple of dams. Apart from the cabin, that has facilities and is fully self contained., if you want to camp you must be fully safe contained. We can also a small Jack-off camper that is also available to hire. There are walking tracks on the property.. Please do not leave pets alone in cabin. FREE Firewood Tours are available.

The retreat cottage, surrounds and hosts are just fabulous Superb facilities, great fully equipped kitchen, indoor outdoor living, wonderful sunsets, crabbing fishing… I know there’s a huge flathead still out there…had it on the line just about in the boat😳 Had an awesome 4 days..Very cool place..5star!!!
