Hillier Hideaway is a beautiful 5-acre property located 2 minutes from Coolalinga Central. With 4 well shaded, spacious sites this is the perfect place to pull up and explore Darwin and its surrounds. Sites are not visible from the road and there are no dirt bike tracks or open land adjoining the property, making this a very secluded and safe site. We can accommodate vans up to 24 feet and have 1 dedicated site for either a camper trailer or tent. All sites have no power or water, so you will need to be fully self-sufficient. There is however a single shower and toilet for use if needed. There is a dump point at the Caravan Park across from Coolalinga Central that can be used for a small fee. All sites are well maintained with plenty of shade, please note during the dry season the grassed area will die off. There will be areas allocated for small campfires and guests must follow fire bans as the restrictions come up. There are wild peacocks that come in at dawn and dusk to get their daily feed, guests are welcome to come watch, Burdekin ducks and possums at night. Pets are allowed however dogs must remain on a lead as there is allot of wildlife that call the property home.

Be immersed in the rugged beauty of our Northern bushland, from the luxury of your own fully self contained Van, camper tent or roof top. Open your eyes in the morning to a breathtaking escarpment of native bush. This makes the perfect camp to come home to after exploring Litchfield's waterfalls and attractions. At present we will only be offering 15 self contained sites, so plenty of space not to be on top of each other. We (the owners) live on-site, about a three minute walk from the Van sites. We have also started a little coffee shop at our main camp so you can find us there most days. We are located just 8km from Wangi Falls, one of Litchfield's largest and most iconic waterfalls. For most of the year it is open for swimming. There are also several other smaller water holes nearby. Most water attractions are accessible by car. If you do have a 4WD be sure to go off-road to visit the amazing, less accessible sites.

We have a place you can park your tent(take some tarps in dry season), camper or caravan in the lovely town of Wagait Beach. Power and water is available onsite, and a bathroom with tiolet and cold shower is also available. 5 minute walk to the beach. Also close by is the Cox Country club where you can sit down and have a quiet alcohol beverage or meal(Open Thurs - Sun). Wagait Beach store is also nearby to buy groceries and takeaway food. Please be advised, the store doesnt sell alcohol at present :( If you are inclined to cook your own food, three fire pits are available at property. We had a great time at Two Rivers! Dan was very accommodating, and full of tips on what to do in the area. Berry Springs is <10 minutes away. The site itself was well tended to, and the kids enjoyed interacting with the chicken. A dump point, book swap and washing machine were added bonuses!

Awesome little spot for a weekend getaway. Large area with plenty of room for a group. We had 7 adults and 3 children and still had plenty of space. Great little container fire pit area and firewood. Shower wasn’t the best but understandable due to having to cart water in. We took a rubber tub and boiled water and had tub rinse off and kids could have a tub baths which made up for no hot water. We all enjoyed our stay, will come back again.
