Kangarutha Farm

13 sites · Lodging, RVs, Tents115 acres · Kalaru, NSW
Visit Tathra, but stay at Kangarutha, only 2km from the edge of town, and enjoy space, privacy and tranquillity. We intentionally only have a limited number of campsites on our large property, so that you can enjoy camping in a natural setting away from the crowd. Our stunning property is comprised of open paddock areas surrounded by large areas of native forests, and we border national park. Enjoy the forest trails here on the property, which take you on a tour to our peaceful back dam. Or explore further afield - our place links to both the Tathra-Kalaru bike track and the Bournda National Park, where you can access the Tathra Mountain Bike Trail Network, as well as the secluded coves along the Kangarutha Walking Track. Our property was home to the former and well-loved businesses 'Kangarutha Nursery', and 'On the Perch Bird Park'. We have been busy re-imagining these spaces. We have drinking water, flushing accessible toilets and one hot shower a short walk from the campsites. Our property is dog friendly for well behaved dogs that don't chase wildlife or the horses on our property. No hunting dogs. Campfires permitted when there are no restrictions. You can gather your own wood, or we can prepare wood for you.

So Good Farm

10 sites · Lodging, Tents200 acres · Wyndham, NSW
We purchased our 200-acre property after it was devastated by the Summer 2019/20 bushfires. We are new to farming and are learning to live on the land. The property came with sheep which we are also learning a lot about, we also have an extremely friendly kelpie named Sage. We are interested in the idea of becoming organic farmers, love to do our bit for the environment, and want to live a more sustainable lifestyle. We grow herbs and vegetables, have a few fruit trees, and can't wait to plant more. We have fallen in love with farming life and want our farm to be a place of learning and enjoyment and can't wait to share the little place we call home. So Good Farm is situated 20 minutes west of Pambula Beach on the Sapphire Coast. The property is surrounded by trees and is filled with an abundance of wildlife. There is a creek that runs through the property and a spring feed dam. Plenty of walking tracks throughout the hilly property with amazing views at various spots, especially the peak of the property, if you are up for the challenge. The property also backs onto a national park. The closest town is only 5min away where you can pick up food supplies and fuel.

Tiny Nerak Hideaway

1 site · Lodging36 acres · Nethercote, NSW
Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Relax and unwind in this new, super cute and cozy tiny house where everything you need is supplied (except food!). Surrounded by bush and valley views with a fabulous deck to extend the living space it’s ideal for a romantic getaway or a fun few days with a couple of friends. Suitable for up to 4 people. Just 10 mins drive to the historic town and beaches of the fishing town of Eden and surrounded by National Parks. And super close to the new Eden Mountain Bike Trails. Tiny Nerak is in its own fenced off area once you are over the cattle grid. You are welcome to wander around the forest and bush below the tiny. Be entertained by the extensive bird life; kookaburras, lyre birds, magpies, parrots and wedge-tailed eagles as well as the fairy wrens and thrushes. However, as this is the bush, there will also be other native wildlife to be mindful of! Our friendly horse, Bailey, will also be around as will our chooks, self-shedding sheep and old farm cat, Joey.

2Wrens Rd

5 sites · Lodging, Tents25 acres · Murrah, NSW
I have blocked bookings from March 2024 as the area will be a construction zone during the build of our house and shed which are close by to the Bunga Surf Shack and camp sites. Coastal farmland, half wooded, half cleared, distant neighbours and nearby National Parks. Great surf beaches including Bunga Point, Cuttagee and Aragunnu all close by. There are numerous coastal lagoons, Biamanga and Mimosa Rocks National parks. We have a large dam at the entrance to the property. The township of Bermagui is 15 minutes drive north; Tathra and Bega are 30mins south. There is an abundance of wildlife including kangaroos, wallabies, goannas, echidnas, eagles, wombats. You can enjoy whale watching, diving, swimming, surfing and walking coastal tracks from here. As well there is an abundance of great food available with Wapengo Organic oysters just down the road, Mimosa Winery close by and numerous cafes, pub, restaurants, sourdough bakery, woolworths, bottleshop etc in the gorgeous coastal village of Bermagui. Mobile phone and internet coverage is good with Telstra, not as reliable if you are with Optus. Lovely place to switch off from your device if possible though. If you require firewood please select this in the extras or leave $20 cash per nights supply as we do have to chop, split and deliver this to the site. There is plenty of kindling to scavenge on site. Please be respectful of neighbours, drive slowly for wildlife, and no flying of drones over private land. Thanking you.
