Welcome to our cob home! For those who are new to the concept; cob houses are made of clay-like lumps of soil, sand, and straw. We are eco friendly and off grid making it the perfect getaway from the big city. Located on a private property surrounded by beautiful, natural state forest. Our cob house includes: 2 bedroom (1 queen + 2 singles) Outdoor shower (tank water) with gas hot water Fully equipped camping kitchen for cooking Outdoor fire pit Composting toilet system Kitchen: The kitchen has a gas cooker with pots and pans as well as cooking utensils, some cooking essentials (oil, salt & pepper etc) and a full size fridge. There is no oven or microwave, this is off grid living. Bathroom: Located outside which runs hot water. Our water is filtered from our dam and gas heated. Toilet: There is a composting toilet system. Super easy to use, firstly, there is no flush button; after using the toilet please sprinkle some wood shaving in the bowl, this covers your business, immediately neutralizes any smells and prompts the natural decomposition process.
