Other than passing trains, the property is private and peaceful, you can see the wallabies grazing near the carriage most mornings.We have bitumen road access to our 300 metre maintained gravel driveway.There is plenty of room to park a trailer or boat.Diane owns and runs the quilt fabric shop, the Remnant Basket in Macksville.Diane is passionate about sewing and quilting.Dave is a semi retired builder who owns and runs the water ski school in Macksville. Dave is a member of Nambucca Rotary and enjoys riding Jacks Ridge MTB track, motor bike riding, kayaking and golf.

Our favourite place we stayed along our trip from Sydney to brisbane. Loved staying here even if it was for the 1 night. Loved that we had our private little shower room and the locals here were amazing to talk to and have a laugh with at the tavern in the town centre. Right next to the ocean but if you're also nervous with swimming its fine as the river is there also where its much more calm to swim in. Would've stayed here another night if I could redo the trip.
