We are surrounded by the stunning valley views of Marra Marra National Park. Guests can enjoy hiking, wandering the orchard picking fresh produce, taking a tractor ride, feeding the animals and relaxing. Please note we are a working farm so sometimes tractors and vehicles can be heard working from 7am. There will be foot traffic and possibly tractor rides operating near some of the sites although we will do our best to respect your privacy while you are here. We also have a quarry surrounding most of the property, so they sometimes operate machinery early. This is not generally too disruptive though. We are just 15 minutes' drive from the beautiful historical Wiseman's Ferry and the Hawkesbury River. There are multiple hiking tracks located close by. We have several sites to offer around the property. We have a beautiful huge dam just 350m down the gully. It’s super peaceful although a steep walk down the driveway to access, it's definitely worth it, so pack your walking shoes and some swimmers.

Yerrinbool is 1 hour from Sydney and a great spot to spend a weekend away, 15 mins from Bowral and 10 mins to Mittagong There are animals on the farm including ducks, chickens, goats, sheep and sometimes even baby cows. The property does need a little clean up but the rear of the property is nice and tranquil. We are directly next to the HWY so sometimes there is road noise, but it's a great location for an easy stopover. Easy access for caravans, keeping in mind the weather as like in all areas it becomes soft when wet. Please note, while we do permit more than one car per site booking, we only allow 1 caravan per site. So if you are in a group with more than 1 caravan, you will need to book multiple sites. Any questions, please let us know. We have Fire Pits in key locations around the farm PLEASE DO NOT move them as they signify each spot for camping. They have allocated spots and we do not need them moved. We also have a toilet in a small shed in the rear paddock for people who are using tents. Also when you come to the campsite please insure that when using the toilet to keep it clean as it is a bush toilet. Water to flush the toilet is in a tank behind the shed and if your a male please use a tree for number 1. We want to minimise flushes where possible, please keep clean for the next camper. and water is at the front of the property, if you're required to fill your tanks or rinse off. We have two dams with yabbies you are welcome to collect. Welcome to this remote piece of paradise! Rhapsody is located in Gingkin,, which is not far from Oberon NSW, about 3 hours west of Sydney. Campsites are hidden in a remote valley direct frontage to the pristine Hollanders River, adjoining the Kanangra-Boyd National Park. There are two private campsites on grassy river flats surrounded by eucalyptus forest. The sites are very secluded so you will see lots of wildlife and you're guaranteed not to see any other people! Only one group can stay at each campsite and campsites are on different parts of the river so privacy is guaranteed. In dry conditions 2WD is fine for Wallaby flat but in wet weather, 4WD is required. Platypus flat is 4wd only. You can always park at the top of the hill and walk down first if you're not sure. Dog friendly. Campfires permitted in a designated area when restrictions aren't in place. Gather your own wood from fallen timber on the way in or BYO wood. Not much firewood available on site. Both campsites can get quite cool as they are low in the valley. This is a wild and remote area. Guided remote bushwalks also available for those who are fit and adventurous. Both campsites have a pit toilets, cold shower, spring water on tap, picnic tables.. Water is sourced from a distant spring in the mountain and is gravity fed to the site by above ground pipe which heats the water during the day. There is a small area where you can get Telstra mobile reception at the cattle grid on the way into the property, but very limited mobile reception in this area. If you are on Optus or other networks you won't get any reception. There is no mobile reception at camp - perfect for disconnecting and reconnecting with nature!

Originally settled in 1889 "Bobs Grant" this lovely property and the surrounding land was originally used for farming but is now mostly turf farms. Enjoy our little getaway down by the Hawkesbury River only 10 minutes from historic Windsor. A beautiful river shack for your use exclusively, including fire pit with direct access to the Hawkesbury river. Destroyed in the March and July 2022 floods, we have now re-built and are loving welcoming back our guests. Bring your caravans, tent or swag - all are welcome! Unfortunately, boats are not. Relax and enjoy the serenity whilst being only 1 hour from Sydney. We offer the site to one group only, a maximum of 20 guests. However note, we are not a place for rowdy groups and parties. Groups are welcome here to enjoy the time with their family and friends, play a little music and relax by the river. The river can get busy (which is great after the floods as it has been dead for so long) and so can the road across the river but if you are enjoying your family and friends you won't even notice! We have one basic toilet, and one river water shower available too! Please bring your own drinking water. You can bring your dogs, but they must be on a leash at all times. We have three little puppies that love to roam their property. We lock them up sometimes but most of the time they are just running around having fun. Minimum of 2 dogs per booking and they must be noted on the booking. Fires are only permitted when allowed, in the designated areas only.

Debbie was available at all times for anything we needed and Lambert showed us around the amenities which included a very modern bathroom and kitchen inside a large shed that we were lucky to have to ourselves for two nights. Also had some games for the kids and a book of recommendations on things to explore around the area. Lots of mosquitoes though, bring repellent, you’ll need it.

A quick 5 minute walk or 10 minute drive to facilities, amenities, shop and cafe.

We had a lovely three-night stay nestled in the orchards; while many fruits were out of season, we really enjoyed picking the mandarins, peaches, and plums that were available. Jaime was a fantastic, hassle-free host who even opened the cafe on New Year’s Day for our coffee fix and organized animal feeding for our 3-year-old, who also loved the sandpit. The extra-large sites were easy to find, and between the hot shower and the hot water available for dishes in the red-roofed building, we stayed very comfortable despite the inclement weather.

What a great spot with everything we needed and heaps of space. We had a caravan and 3 kids. Rob provided a water connection and power so we were happy campers! Pool was delightful and the kids enjoyed the 3 dogs that joined us in the afternoons. Peaceful, no fuss, no stress, happily recommend.

Even though we went there between the fruit season and the hosts were taking Christmas break, our kids had a great time. The lady opened the shop in the morning and we were able to grab some honey and ice cream. Our kids loved walking around the orchard, played in the sandpit for a quite long time and enjoyed especially feeding animals. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. They also had 2 beautiful dogs Billy and Steve-O who were like 10 times bigger than our dog but they were gentle. Site 3 was very good that it was very private and close enough to amenities.

Our stay at Hartley Vale Garlic Farm was amazing. We turned up after a full day of adventuring and it was the perfect spot to just relax and take in the view. Michelle was such a generous host and made us feel really welcome. Even though there were other campers on the property, everyone had plenty of their own space and kept to themselves, so it still felt nice and private. The toilets were also great and kept really clean. If you’re into garlic, you have to stay here. Michelle let us try some from the farm and it was honestly the best I’ve ever had. It tastes so real and raw compared to what you get at the shops. We’d definitely recommend this place to anyone and would love to come back again.

Where to go

The Blue Mountains

Katoomba is the de facto gateway to the Blue Mountains, and while many of the region's top attractions are located in or around town, there's plenty more to visit in the surrounding region. Highlights include the Jenolan Caves, about an hour away, and the Blue Mountains Botanic Gardens, about a 45-minute drive from Katoomba via Mount Victoria.

The Sydney Area

Sydney is the nearest major city to Katoomba and offers all the trappings of a cosmopolitan city plus easy access to loads of fantastic beaches. While much of the Sydney area is decidedly urban, there are plenty of pristine natural areas within a short jaunt from town, including Royal National Park to the south and Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park just north of the metropolitan area.

Eusdale Nature Reserve

Spread out over 1,200 hectares, just north of Fish River, Eusdale Nature Reserve near Katoomba is an ideal spot to go for a hike, particularly if you're trying to get away from crowds. A 10-kilometre trail runs through the reserve and gets relatively few hikers, meaning you may very well get the whole place to yourself.

When to go

The best time to visit Katoomba and the surrounding Blue Mountains region is during the spring, when temperatures are pleasantly warm but rainfall hasn't peaked. Summer gets a bit of rain, which can put a literal damper on outdoor fun, and while winters are relatively drier, they can be cool and snowy. If you do come in winter, try to plan your visit to coincide with the annual Winter Magic Festival to see the entire town transformed into an outdoor performance venue.
