The space
Built originally in the late 1800s’, Oakleigh farmhouse has been extended and transformed over the years to create two adjoining, comfortable homes. The sides are fully independent, with seperate entrances and facilities, although they are adjoining, and can be booked either separately or together.
The pool and garden are shared by both residences (but there is plenty of space to maintain privacy).
Situated in the heart of a family farm, Oakleigh is surrounded by tranquil landscaped gardens that are full of birds. Beyond the fences, you'll see rustic sheds and the paraphernalia of farm life, kids especially love seeing a tractor rumble past on occasion. The surrounding dirt roads offer wonderful walking and cycling tracks and there are bicycles available for guest use.
Oakleigh’s homey and cosy atmosphere can be enjoyed by couples seeking a quiet getaway, families looking for a relaxing break, or larger groups wanting the space and freedom to enjoy themselves without fear of disturbing others.
