Sutton Farm is easily accessible for all guests as we're just five minutes from the Hume Highway. Our historic stable complex featured as a setting in the iconic Australian movie, “Phar Lap”, and includes stables boxes immediately adjacent to our indoor arena. Please note only one tent or one vehicle, one caravan per site. Just minutes from the shopping delights of Bowral and Moss Vale, and an easy drive to other historic Highlands towns like Berrima, Bundanoon and Robertson, a stay at Sutton Farm puts you right in the middle of everything the area has to offer. This is the perfect weekend escape for busy city folk and a magical getaway for families. Our Equestrian Centre boasts state of the art equestrian facilities within a beautiful, historic setting. The lush, undulating green hills are shaded with leafy trees. We love our horses. We host horse lovers events twice a year, and offer boutique training, horse riding lessons, functions and five star events. We welcome all types of camping guests from tents through to campervans and caravans. The camping area is 2WD accessible. You are welcome to choose where you’d like to set up on arrival. PLEASE ARRIVE BEFORE 5PM. A gate code will be given on arrival if you need to exit after 5pm. Old Forty Pumpkin Farm is located in Colo Vale which is 1 hour out of Sydney, 10 mins from Mittagong and 15 mins from Bowral. The owner, Bruce, grows giant pumpkins as well as other fruit and vegetables. The property is the last property in McCallums road so there is absolutely no passing traffic making for the most serene, peaceful stay. The property has various campsites to select from, each with its own fire pit, perfect for a quiet drink while the sun goes down and toasted marshmallows under the stars. Firewood is not provided so please bring your own. There’s plenty of room for mountain bike riding, and bushwalking with many beautiful walking trails. You will need to bring your own toilet, and all rubbish must be removed when you leave.

Enjoyed our weekend stay. The area amongst the long grass we stayed on was mowed. Some light traffic noise from nearby main road. Firewood extra was good.

Our stay was absolutely incredible! The place is gorgeous, the camping areas are super private, and if you book the bathtub… OMG, it’s perfect after a hot beach day. The communal area is beautiful and has everything you need for cooking, having a coffee and storing your food — plus the cutest little possums watching you at night like tiny fluffy supervisors. And the bathroom with the shower? A solid 10/10, no notes. Magali was an amazing host — super attentive, kind, and just lovely overall! We 100% recommend it. We already decided we’re coming back for a couple more days at the start of next year 😁✨

Location was so lovely! Super remote and even caught a glimpse of the southern lights. Very pretty to stargaze and the fire pit is a great addition.

Serenity beside paradise. This wonderful location could not be better. Surrounded by trees and birdsong, the serenity is inescapable, and this is before you indulge in the gorgeous outdoor bath! And only eight minutes from paradise! Magali was a wonderful, attentive host who was there when you needed her, but otherwise left you to do your own thing. Amenities were plenty, and very clean. Very impressed with everything, thanks for a great getaway!
