Bunga Surf Shack is located 20m from our house we are completing building in mid-2025. It is private from our house with a seperate driveway.
The property is coastal farmland, half wooded, half cleared, distant neighbours and nearby National Parks. Great surf beaches including Bunga Point, Cuttagee and Aragunnu all close by. There are numerous coastal lagoons, Biamanga and Mimosa Rocks National parks. We have a large dam at the entrance to the property.
The township of Bermagui is 15 minutes drive north; Tathra and Bega are 30mins south. There is an abundance of wildlife including kangaroos, wallabies, goannas, echidnas, eagles, wombats.
You can enjoy whale watching, diving, swimming, surfing and walking coastal tracks from here.
As well there is an abundance of great food available with Wapengo Organic oysters just down the road, Mimosa Winery close by and numerous cafes, pub, restaurants, sourdough bakery, woolworths, bottleshop etc in the gorgeous coastal village of Bermagui.
Mobile phone and internet coverage is good with Telstra, not as reliable if you are with Optus. Lovely place to switch off from your device if possible though.
If you require firewood please select this in the extras or leave $20 cash per nights supply as we do have to chop, split and deliver this to the site. There is plenty of kindling to scavenge on site.
If you would like to have friends stay with you there is additional space we allow for campers, otherwise we do not allow campers without the Surf Shack booking.

Try your hand at trout fishing and enjoy endless tracks for bushwalking and observing the native wildlife. Wander along the river banks just enjoying the serenity of the location and witness platypus feeding, water dragons sunning themselves and the brown trout fly feeding and one of Australia's beautiful but lesser known native rodents, Rakali (intelligent semi aquatic water rat who's scientific name translates to golden -bellied water mouse). One of Australia's two aquatic mammals, the platypus being the other.
This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower. IF NO CHEMICAL TOILET, DIG A HOLE AT LEAST 30CM DEEP .
There is access to a drinking water supply (mountain river water), or you can bring your own water. After heavy rain you may need to boil/filter for drinking.
You will need a 4WD to access the campsites closest to the river as there is a shallow gully crossing. Camper trailer or off road pop up campers will be able to negoiate the tracks. Good clearance necessary to pass over one gully crossing.
Dogs are welcome, however, we do run sheep in an adjoining paddock so they need to stay close to your camp.
Kids aged 16 and under camp for free.
There is a dedicated campfire pit so you can stay warm on chilly evenings (please check to see if there is a seasonal fire ban in place). Fire wood can be provided - chainsaws are permitted but be mindful of structures that are animal habitats.
Your family may enjoy taking a bushwalk that takes you around the 300 acre native bush paddock. Climb up and get a birds eye view down into a gully of magnificent granite boulders above where the river disappears deep below. Identify the unique sounds of the native birds and follow the tracks wildlife create. We are centrally located - just 1.5 hours from the snowfields and from the best beaches of the NSW coastline.
There is a small general store, 2 takeaway cafes and a pub at Nimmitabel, or you can get all supplies in Cooma 25 mins away. Please note that we have very limited reception service for mobiles, so let's communicate via messages before you arrive in our area.
I can provide a camping setup if you need extra bedding or you don't have any camping equipment or tent.

Bunga Surf Shack is located 20m from our house we are completing building in mid-2025. It is private from our house with a seperate driveway.
The property is coastal farmland, half wooded, half cleared, distant neighbours and nearby National Parks. Great surf beaches including Bunga Point, Cuttagee and Aragunnu all close by. There are numerous coastal lagoons, Biamanga and Mimosa Rocks National parks. We have a large dam at the entrance to the property.
The township of Bermagui is 15 minutes drive north; Tathra and Bega are 30mins south. There is an abundance of wildlife including kangaroos, wallabies, goannas, echidnas, eagles, wombats.
You can enjoy whale watching, diving, swimming, surfing and walking coastal tracks from here.
As well there is an abundance of great food available with Wapengo Organic oysters just down the road, Mimosa Winery close by and numerous cafes, pub, restaurants, sourdough bakery, woolworths, bottleshop etc in the gorgeous coastal village of Bermagui.
Mobile phone and internet coverage is good with Telstra, not as reliable if you are with Optus. Lovely place to switch off from your device if possible though.
If you require firewood please select this in the extras or leave $20 cash per nights supply as we do have to chop, split and deliver this to the site. There is plenty of kindling to scavenge on site.
If you would like to have friends stay with you there is additional space we allow for campers, otherwise we do not allow campers without the Surf Shack booking.

Wander along the river banks just enjoying the serenity of the location and witness platypus feeding, water dragons sunning themselves and the brown trout fly feeding and one of Australia's beautiful but lesser known native rodents, Rakali (intelligent semi aquatic water rat who's scientific name translates to golden -bellied water mouse). One of Australia's two aquatic mammals, the platypus being the other.
This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower. IF NO CHEMICAL TOILET, DIG A HOLE AT LEAST 30CM DEEP .
There is access to a drinking water supply (mountain river water), or you can bring your own water. After heavy rain you may need to boil/filter for drinking.
You will need a 4WD to access the campsites closest to the river as there is a shallow gully crossing. Camper trailer or off road pop up campers will be able to negoiate the tracks. Good clearance necessary to pass over one gully crossing.
Dogs are welcome, however, we do run sheep in an adjoining paddock so they need to stay close to your camp.
Kids aged 16 and under camp for free.
There is a dedicated campfire pit so you can stay warm on chilly evenings (please check to see if there is a seasonal fire ban in place). Fire wood can be provided - chainsaws are permitted but be mindful of structures that are animal habitats.
Your family may enjoy taking a bushwalk that takes you around the 300 acre native bush paddock. Climb up and get a birds eye view down into a gully of magnificent granite boulders above where the river disappears deep below. Identify the unique sounds of the native birds and follow the tracks wildlife create. We are centrally located - just 1.5 hours from the snowfields and from the best beaches of the NSW coastline.
There is a small general store, 2 takeaway cafes and a pub at Nimmitabel, or you can get all supplies in Cooma 25 mins away. Please note that we have very limited reception service for mobiles, so let's communicate via messages before you arrive in our area.
I can provide a camping setup if you need extra bedding or you don't have any camping equipment or tent.

Weekend Trip to Siam Sanctuary
Loved the nature immersion in this spot. Amazing birdlife and two very friendly adorable chickens walking round. The campervan ‘Delilah’ was very cozy and comfortable. We had a nice time exploring the grounds and having a drink down by the creek. Great spot to use as a base to explore the bermagui/Tilba areas.
Shanti and Sol were excellent hosts - very accommodating and check in was very easy (even at night time). Couldn’t recommend this spot enough.

We really enjoyed our stay at Siam Sanctuary. We loved “Delilah” the retro caravan and were grateful for the fresh water and gas stove. After a couple of weeks of rough camping Delilah was a real treat. The camp is so peaceful and has very relaxed vibes. The giant swing is a lot of fun for all ages and we enjoyed exploring the creek track in the evenings. It is a perfect location to get to Camel Rock for a surf, into Bermagui for lunch, explore the cute galleries at Cobargo and nip to Mystery Bay for an evening dip. I would definitely recommend a stay here and will definitely come back again. Thank you!

Bec and Stuart are great hosts and So Good is a great spot near beautiful Pambula to stop if you have a dog and want a lovely glamping tent and thoughtful facilities. This was our second visit and Bec kindly gave us some dog food as we forgot ours. I’d highly recommend esp the tent near the creek if you’re happy to be away from the communal kitchen or the near shed if you want facilities.

Absolutely stunning location with excellent facilities — truly worth the drive. Bec and Stuart were exceptional hosts who made the stay feel effortless and welcoming. Stuart kept us thoroughly entertained with his passion for his creative projects and his big boy toys, and both he and Bec went above and beyond by taking the kids out on the quad bike to help round up the sheep — an experience they were absolutely over the moon about. The setting was peaceful and relaxing, yet perfectly positioned with plenty to explore, including beautiful coastal towns just a short 25‑minute trip away. Our kids, my wife, and even the dog had an amazing time. We’ll definitely be returning for another visit.

We loved our camping experience at 'So Good Farm' and highly recommend to anyone exploring the south coast of NSW. Rebecca & Stuart were truly the best, generous, friendly & caring! The property is beautiful and the facilities (hot shower, fully functional kitchen, lounge with fire, dining table etc) are perfect for those who love to be outdoors without all the work of camping. I look forward to returning again.

Exceptional view, quiet and private clean sites. We stayed in the Bell tent and cabin over 4 nights with our 1 year old and we had a lovely time there. Lots to explore with walking trails around the sites and a nice creek flowing through it. Our dog loves to take a dip in the creek. We will definitely be back and can't wait to see Bec and Stuart's vision of the farm come to life. Such a nice and and cosy place ✨️ We enjoyed every bit of it!

The glamping tent was beautiful. This spot really is the perfect stop to and from Sydney/Melbourne. The shared kitchen area has everything you might have forgotten to pack, the walks around the area are so peaceful. Bec is beyond helpful.

Weekend Trip to So Good Farm
My mum and I stayed in one of the glamping So Good over the weekend while we visited friends in Pambula, and had the best time! The property is absolutely gorgeous, Bec & Stu are so much fun, and the facilities they’ve built are just magical. 100% recommend.

Amazing location. We had our tinny with us, and were able to have it anchored just in front of our cabin. View was perfect. So peaceful. Cabin had everything we needed. And staff were delightful. Will be back!

Weekend Trip to Top of the Lake
Top of the Lake is great! This was our second time, but this time we stayed in a unit rather than camping. It was warm, cozy, and well equipped, with a full kitchen for us to cook in. Our favourite part? Just how dog friendly it is, they were happy for us to keep our fur babies inside with us, as well as leaving them in the secure courtyard if we needed to go shopping. And the secure off-lead yard was so much fun for them to run around in. 10/10 will definitely stay here again, whether camping or glamping in a unit.

I loved camping at So Good farm !! it was the most lovely, warm, welcoming experience.
Rebecca was so friendly and put so much effort into making the stay as homely as possible. the resources and facilities available were fantastic. I definitely recommend staying here if you want a beautiful, peaceful and wholesome farm stay. Can’t wait to be back one day !!

A fabulous place that we would love to visit again. The glamping tent was put to the test with hours of heavy rain and passed - we were dry, warm and cosy inside. The surrounds are beautiful and peaceful, whilst the camp kitchen and sitting area is well equipped and cosy. Bec was an amazing host, making sure we had everything we needed, lending us equipment and providing tips on where to visit. We have no hesitation in recommending So Good Farm to others.

Great location, just outside of Eden, right on the beach. We stayed in one of the dog-friendly cabins by the creek, with two adults, two kids and the dog, and it was quite comfortable, and had everything we needed. Loved how the cabin had it's own fenced-in courtyard and private BBQ. Super friendly staff too. Would recommend!
