Bunga Surf Shack is located 20m from our house we are completing building in mid-2025. It is private from our house with a seperate driveway.
The property is coastal farmland, half wooded, half cleared, distant neighbours and nearby National Parks. Great surf beaches including Bunga Point, Cuttagee and Aragunnu all close by. There are numerous coastal lagoons, Biamanga and Mimosa Rocks National parks. We have a large dam at the entrance to the property.
The township of Bermagui is 15 minutes drive north; Tathra and Bega are 30mins south. There is an abundance of wildlife including kangaroos, wallabies, goannas, echidnas, eagles, wombats.
You can enjoy whale watching, diving, swimming, surfing and walking coastal tracks from here.
As well there is an abundance of great food available with Wapengo Organic oysters just down the road, Mimosa Winery close by and numerous cafes, pub, restaurants, sourdough bakery, woolworths, bottleshop etc in the gorgeous coastal village of Bermagui.
Mobile phone and internet coverage is good with Telstra, not as reliable if you are with Optus. Lovely place to switch off from your device if possible though.
If you require firewood please select this in the extras or leave $20 cash per nights supply as we do have to chop, split and deliver this to the site. There is plenty of kindling to scavenge on site.
If you would like to have friends stay with you there is additional space we allow for campers, otherwise we do not allow campers without the Surf Shack booking.

Bunga Surf Shack is located 20m from our house we are completing building in mid-2025. It is private from our house with a seperate driveway.
The property is coastal farmland, half wooded, half cleared, distant neighbours and nearby National Parks. Great surf beaches including Bunga Point, Cuttagee and Aragunnu all close by. There are numerous coastal lagoons, Biamanga and Mimosa Rocks National parks. We have a large dam at the entrance to the property.
The township of Bermagui is 15 minutes drive north; Tathra and Bega are 30mins south. There is an abundance of wildlife including kangaroos, wallabies, goannas, echidnas, eagles, wombats.
You can enjoy whale watching, diving, swimming, surfing and walking coastal tracks from here.
As well there is an abundance of great food available with Wapengo Organic oysters just down the road, Mimosa Winery close by and numerous cafes, pub, restaurants, sourdough bakery, woolworths, bottleshop etc in the gorgeous coastal village of Bermagui.
Mobile phone and internet coverage is good with Telstra, not as reliable if you are with Optus. Lovely place to switch off from your device if possible though.
If you require firewood please select this in the extras or leave $20 cash per nights supply as we do have to chop, split and deliver this to the site. There is plenty of kindling to scavenge on site.
If you would like to have friends stay with you there is additional space we allow for campers, otherwise we do not allow campers without the Surf Shack booking.
Please be respectful of neighbours, drive slowly for wildlife, and no flying of drones over private land. Thanking you.

Weekend Trip to Top of the Lake
Top of the Lake is great! This was our second time, but this time we stayed in a unit rather than camping. It was warm, cozy, and well equipped, with a full kitchen for us to cook in. Our favourite part? Just how dog friendly it is, they were happy for us to keep our fur babies inside with us, as well as leaving them in the secure courtyard if we needed to go shopping. And the secure off-lead yard was so much fun for them to run around in. 10/10 will definitely stay here again, whether camping or glamping in a unit.

This camp was stunning. Despite it being winter, it was breathtaking. It was definitely quiet but the workers were so attentive and lovely. I stayed in a Koala cabin and would recommend, spacious, deck space, big bathroom- will be 100% coming back in summer and opening all the windows to look at the kangaroos go past.
Perfect for family’s, solo trips, couple trips or just a one night stay- so many amenities that were clean and hold a lovely energy about them.
If you’re staying in Tathra- this is the place you should pick.

Great location, just outside of Eden, right on the beach. We stayed in one of the dog-friendly cabins by the creek, with two adults, two kids and the dog, and it was quite comfortable, and had everything we needed. Loved how the cabin had it's own fenced-in courtyard and private BBQ. Super friendly staff too. Would recommend!

Honestly one of the most calming and relaxing places me and my boyfriend have stayed in! We got the cabin lodge and we were shocked at how beautiful it was. I wish I could show pictures of the mornings we woke up too. It was just beautiful. Even though this place doesn’t have showers the owners provide you with your own wash bath and clothes so you can bathe. This place was so practical and so calming. We would 100% go back there again!!

The 2 bedroom cabin and amenities were very clean and well equipped. We went there in late November so it was very quiet. The location was close to Eden and peripheral towns. The lake was perfect for fishing. 4WD is recommended if you want to travel further along the river to the ocean from the lake.

My pup and I had an amazing time at Wonboyn Cabins! We had a very comfortable stay in one of the Windsor cabins which was perfect size and was equipped with everything we needed. We even hired a boat from them and explored the estuary. Luke was very kind and understanding of our situation and helped us when we needed. I highly recommend this place!
