There are no set sites as such, you may choose your own camping spot in the bush setting. Enjoy your favourite water activities, swimming, kayaking, fishing or boating. Bike rides and walks along the river. Or just enjoy the bush setting. We are within easy reach of the Torrumbarry boat ramp. Camp fires are allowed in fire drums which are available and fire wood is available in $15 lots. Text Julie for delivery. You may bring your own wood. A toilet and shower is available. A hot shower is $2. An honesty box is located on the shower for your shower money. Please, take your rubbish waste with you. Pets are welcome, but must be under control at all times. The Murray River is a walk away so bushwalking is as easy as putting your boots on. While we do not provide amenities we do provide a vista that is hard to find. Botanical rare flora and fauna are found on these Sandhills. We have ancient sandalwood trees, remnant Murray Pines, huge eucalyptus trees and myrtle bushes. This country is of The Wolithica clan of the Yorta Yorta nation and is steeped in cultural history. Scar trees, maddens and more. Echidna and wallabies, eagles and sand ridge birds abound.We ask that you leave only your footprints and to know that if you don’t bring it with you it’s not here.The towns of Echuca and Gunbower are not far away And provide culinary delights, paddle steamer rides and lots of activities for visitors. Minmi is a 4200 acre irrigated stud and commercial beef cattle farm. We have some beautiful redgum gullys ideal for a quiet camping getaway. We have some amazing birdlife on our farm such as pink cockatoos, red-rumped parrot, blue-faced honeyeater, black banded dotterel, wedge-tailed eagle, and many, many other species. There is a family of babblers that may greet you at the front gate and there are a large number of blue wrens in the homestead garden that if you sit still may sit on you. A lovely tranquil camping spot right near the river. Beautiful trees and birds. Great to relax and have a camp fire or go for a walk. The hosts are so friendly and welcoming and the amenities are great. We really appreciated the lovely camp fire and the toilets and hot shower. We will definitely be back and highly recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing and secluded camping experience.

We had an amazing time! The campground is very spacious, and even though there weren’t many other campers during our stay, the area is so big that I’m sure it still feels comfortable when it’s busier. Julie was incredible — very welcoming. The facilities were spotless, with super clean bathrooms and hot showers for just $2. Highly recommend, and we’d definitely come back again! 🌿

Great directions and a very easy check in. The most difficult part was deciding where to set up. There is a huge amount of space to spread out. The dogs loved it. One of the better Hipcamp sites we have been too. Well kept grounds, multiple toilets that are very clean and Julie was lovely. It is approx. 20 mins to Echuca for supplies and cafes but there is also a BP servo 5 mins away for any emergancy supplies.

We had a great experience being immersed in remote nature. The campsite was very private and secluded. It was so hot during our visit and the lagoon was dry. It would have been a lot better if the lagoon was full. But we enjoyed our stay. We picked some fresh oranges which is a bonus. The host was lovely, easy to communicate to and very friendly. Thank you for a genuine bush camping experience!

Beautiful camp spot. The sand bank was great for our kid (18m) she had great fun playing in the sand. Lots of reasonably level ground to set up. Plenty of fire wood around as described. Simon was great with communication, we had a request which he was more than happy to accommodate. Our only issue was the flies, I highly suggest fly traps, lots of them. Then when you think you have enough grab a couple more. I’m not stranger to flies but holy moly it killed the relaxing atmosphere I would definitely recommend the sand bar and I would definitely go back.

Beautiful spot, very quiet. Plenty of wildlife including wriggly sticks so if you’re taking kids or pets keep an eye open. River access is easy and would suit all ages. Pity there is a house being built across the river which will impact some privacy. Fishing was good with a 20-1 ratio of carp to natives. Did catch and release a nice silver perch. We moved back to the clearing about 70m from the river to get out from under the trees, we had 80k winds on one day and didn’t want to risk it. The bonus was plenty of solar and heaps of firewood to pick up. Like the self check in and out, feels like you are really just sitting in a gorgeous corner rather than on private property. Directions and signage were excellent. Book it, set up and enjoy it.

Fantastic set up and had everything we needed for 1 night. Noel waited for us to arrive late and showed us around, even got us a light to help set up better at night. The area was so big and can comfortably fit extras, and the maintenance of the property is well done and extremely well kept. Highly recommend.
