Beautiful property right on Creek looking lots of trees, and some tight spaces for vehicles. Bathroom was in the basement of a main house with a private entrance and was so nice.

Gorgeous location, cleanest bathroom I have ever seen while camping and the two sweetest dogs for company. Sadly the weather didn't play ball so will just have to come back one day!

Really nice property. Perfect spot, had the whole camping area to ourselves. Very nice host, and beautiful property. Long gravel road out to property but we had a small car and still worked well.

Make sure you enter on Gold Creek Road. Great people and restful place. I would recommend this if your in the area. Look for the large Murphy sign and your there.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. The host was extremely nice and welcoming. Very quiet surrounding with the beautiful sounds of the creek in the background. Owners dogs came to visit quite a bit and were very friendly and adorable. Overall, very pleased with my stay and would 100% come back again!!

We enjoyed & highly recommend this site! The property is beautiful and very peaceful by the creek. We got a good amount of firewood for our stay, the showers were great, and the owners friendly!

We have been to many camping sites this summer but none of them stood out like this. Many campsites claim to private, but this site truly delivers, not only are they completely private but they are gorgeous, right next to the creek (where wildlife flourished) and the sites are huge. The shower and flushing toilet was a really nice touch.
Cornelius and Angela were super attentive host, very welcoming and easy to talk to, always making sure we were happy and set up. There 2 dogs Murphy and Fergus were highlights of our day, when they would visit and patrol the campsites. I highly suggest purchasing wood through Cornelius best deal we have experienced so far in the area and with other campsites.
One thing to keep in mind accessibility will be best for confident drivers and/or trucks and 4 wheel drives. We made it down in a 2 wheel drive civic comfortably but others may have some difficulty going down some of the steep rocky hills.
I recommend when putting the location into your maps not to put in the address but instead to use “Murphy Gold Creek Ranch” (works on apple and google maps) and it will direct you straight there, when we put in the address it didn’t take us all the way. Once there, the signage to the camp is quite clear, with a hip camp logo which really helps.
This is a truly special place, and we have decided it’s our campsite of choice every year, it’s complete perfection.

Cornelius was so friendly and the place is beautiful and well kept. He helped us find the perfect spot for our rig then, offered firewood, informed us of bathroom facilities then left us alone to enjoy. It was perfect.

Loved the campsite! Me and my friends had all of the spaces for us. Washroom is very accessible and big! would fit 2 people in the shower tbh. Everyone had fun for our 2 nights and 3 days stay. Wish could be longer :( Two dogs on the site were very very friendly. Very peaceful place to camp. No pavement going into the site. All in all 10/10

This site is stunning! You drive down a dirt road and come upon a wonderful campsite! Our hosts were amazing, the dogs were the cutest and the chickens were wonderful. Stay here if you have the chance!

Awesome host! Super friendly and accommodating. Lovely spot by a creek. We made it with our 22ft moho okay but reserve a flat site to make sure. Gravel road for the last 15km. We almost had trouble finding it but if you just watch for mile marker 15 it’s just a little further and there’s a big sign that says Murphys. That’s the place!

Really nice spot, beautiful property, could hear the creek from the tent. Great and plentiful supply of dry firewood, the hosts were very nice. The dogs were friendly and cute. I found the bathroom a tad far from this specific campsite, but my friend was okay with the distance so just depends on the person, plus it was clean and has a shower. Could see the stars 🌟 and felt very safe on the property.

Amazing experience!! The owners were extremely welcoming and helpful with any requests during me and my dogs stay. I highly recommend taking the opportunity to have a sauna and cold plunge in the river while you are there! It was perfect for deepening into self while connecting to the beautiful land. I will definitely be back

Lovely spot just outside of Cranbrook. Big sites, nicely spaced apart. Super fresh free-range eggs available that were so good! Highly recommend the sauna and a cold plunge in the creek. Loved that there is a washroom and shower available. Cornelius was an excellent host and made sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. The dogs Fergus and Murphy were very friendly too. Would definitely stay here again!

This place is stunning, surrainded by an amazing creek with a delicious swnming pool! My husband, my kid and I enjoyed the sauna and jump right on the swimming hole! Amazing experience. The place is si beatuful that we feel like on a wedding destination. Cornalius and Angela were so kind and attenptibe to our needs! Best eggs i ever are from the chicjem cube!! A must try!
If you are searching places, literal y stop and stay here!!!!
They even have a hike, isnt too long but it is stunning!!

Cornelius is a great host and the property is amazing. Beautiful views of the mountain and loads of privacy. Definitely recommend you have a sturdy car as the road gets bumpy. But worth the trip.

It is a very large compound with a beautiful creek. The washroom and hot shower are nicer than expected. Cornelius and his wife even let us sleep in their trailer so that we did not have to lie stiff in our SUV. We asked for a special favour from them - helping us to freeze our ice- packs! And they were willing to help. We will definitely recommend this place!

Great spot, it looks like a tight squeeze but I was able to park my teardrop trailer right by the water. Very private. The host, Cornelius, was excellent, and always helpful.

Beautiful property and wonderful hosts. Drive to site was questionable as Apple Maps does not show directions to location, use Google.
Cornelius set me up in a spot close enough to the house but far enough away for privacy. There’s a nice creek running through the property. Lots of shade. Caring host. Would definitely come back.
