Cattle camp has a great large level, mowed, 2wd friendly section. Dog and kid friendly and toilets and showers, and only 10 mins from Sarina or 40 mins from Mackay. After we had a look at the track in, we ended up taking our (off-road)van across to the 4wd section. Not mowed, or level, but a nice quiet spot right by the little creek. Need to be self contained. Lindsey is a very friendly, helpful and accommodating host, but mostly we were left to do our own thing, which we love.

Easy to book via Hipcamp. Stayed in the 2WD offgrid area, which was level and although several other groups there, was quiet as. Did not use any facilities so cannot comment on those. Good for us with overnighter.

I highly recommend this place. The property is beautiful, with plenty of space to relax and enjoy nature. It's close to the river, so you can hear the water at night, which makes for a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. A lovely place to stay. Thank you for sharing your land! 😊

Beautiful grassy site next to creek, hot showers and flush toilets, very peaceful lots of wildlife. Host was very welcoming and kept the facilities super tidy. Only planned on staying the night but loved it so much I stayed a week! Great little spot would go again

The creek was beautiful, a lovely, cool place to hang out and explore with the kids. Wished we had more time there to explore the rest of the property otherwise a very quiet peaceful camp with good grounds and amenities.

The grass was soft and free of spikey weeds. The creek is very relaxing. Lindsey is friendly and responsive to messages.

Luscious green camping area, beautiful cool creek, fantastic host - AND EVEN HAS TOILETS AND SHOWERS! Talk about winning. Loved this spot and I will be back, I camped with two dogs who remained on leash, I camped in my van and track was easy to navigate - you can purchase firewood on property which is great as I didn’t bring any with me. Loved it.

This site is amazing, I highly recommend it to anyone with a good 4wd setup! I set myself up there in a swag and it was great... far enough away from the others in the 2wd area that I got a good nights sleep still!

Had a great weekend out at Cattle Creek. Lindsey is always friendly and makes sure everything is ok. Amazing to have toilets and a very nice hot shower. Right on a fresh water running creek.

If you camp across the creek in the 4wd area you can't access amenities due to long grass and the creek. Appreciated the fire pot. Great for bird wstching

Don’t forget to put bushman on I got eaten alive by mozzies. They were lots of bugs. The facility was clean except for the green frogs but it is Queensland

We absolutely loved our camping stay here! Such a beautiful spot right beside the water, with plenty of sunshine, space, and a peaceful atmosphere. 😊
Linsey was welcoming, and made our stay so enjoyable. We loved waking up to the beautiful views and spending our days relaxing by the water.
Thank you for a lovely stay — we’ll definitely be back again and would highly recommend this special little camping spot to others!

Nice spot along the creek! Plenty of room. Late check-out is awesome especially on a Sunday. Clean amenities. Bonus would have been if the creek was flowing.

Lindsey was very quick and responsive to deal with. We had a lovely spot by the creek and will definitely be booking again! Loved the no generator policy too! It was also great to show my child a bit of what life is like to be on a cattle farm.
