Stone Ridge Tiny House
This is my third time visiting and I am sure to be back for another mini-vacation. It is a place to cozy up and be surrounded by nature. The hosts are as welcoming as you want them to be. If you want privacy, they are very good at respecting that and all you'll hear are their adorable chickens and roosters. The sounds of the cranes in the distance and the perfect window positions that allow you to catch the sunrise and sunset are just some of the few things that bring me joy. This place can be as rugged as you want it to be - you can rely on the gas heater or have fun with the wood stove. You can rely on your own packed in water sources, or use the old metal pump to get water. It's truly a delight and the fresh eggs were a pleasant surprise and treat.

Amazing Rustic Cabin
We loved staying here for the weekend. It was a perfect weekend getaway to disconnect from our busy lives and get grounded out in nature. The cabin was super quaint and rustic and we loved using the fire burning stove. We did have a problem with the sink draining which made dishes hard but this was due to unusual cold weather and most likely won’t be an issue in warmer temperatures. Definitely would recommend coming here!

Must Do. Perfect Place.
Brilliant Off-Grid Respite. This place is perfect. Need some time to un-plug and relax then this place is perfection. Enough comforts to make it easy, but a glimpse into the perfect life of no distractions. If you have the chance, take the opportunity to stay. One warning, if it is the winter - careful how hot you get the wood stove or it will feel like sleeping in a sauna (grin).

Surprisingly cozy for a winter stay
This is a cozy warm cabin for a winter retreat set between forest and fields. Being off-grid gives the feel of back-country camping -- pumping water, building fires, being mindful of what you need and use. Darryl is a gracious host, and very generous with the fresh eggs from his crew of chickens. Their chatter in the distance, and welcome coat of snow, makes the place more beautiful.

Stone Ridge Tiny House
Stone Ridge was incredible. When we arrived there was wood set up for a fire in the fire pit and farm fresh eggs. While the cabin was truly off the grid, the solar power allowed for the use of a fridge and lights. There was a wood stove and a large electric(?) heater, as well as a large gas stove. There were windows all around, with wonderful views of the hills and valleys. The experience was far more than we expected, the land was beautiful, and we enjoyed our stay.
