Host Meg was awesome, she makes sure everything is well kept, outhouse, hookups, table, chairs and peace and quiet. 5 acres all to yourself, we had an awesome time.

Great little spot, pretty wildflower patch, hose access, power access, fire pit, and no one else around! Cute little glass house, we had a great time 😊

Very fun spot! Fits any big party, very close drove to the lake. Enough space to play football, set up a bad mitten net and more! Will definitely try to come back!

Our family had a great 3 day campout here. Kid and pet friendly and no campers next to us to worry about. Spent the day swimming at nearby Mayfield Lake and back to camp for campfires and games. We will be booking again!

Great spot, with lots of space and very private.
It had all the essentials including a fire pit and grate, table and 2 chairs, built-in cooler table, clean port-a-potty, wood for sale, and lots of space to put up multiple tents.
The area with the table and chairs was also covered, which was very beneficial because it started to rain on us for a bit.
The nearby lakes were especially nice and easy to get to.
The host was friendly and quick to respond through message.
I definitely recommend this site to anyone who is looking for a comfortable and private camping experience!

The place was just what we needed. The access to water, firewood, cover, and a firepit were ideal. There is a surprising amount of animal noise though. The rooster in the morning didn't bother us, but the nearby dogs barking all night wasn't the most ideal experience.

Meghan's property is beautiful! We stayed 2 nights to check out the Perseid meteor shower and had a perfect view from this open meadow. There's room for lots of tents and vehicles. It was wonderful having electric available and being able to charge our phones and speaker. Wash station and a porta potty on site too.
It's amazing having this big place all to ourselves! You would never get this kind of privacy at a park or campground.
We checked out Mayfield Lake and went hiking at Ike Kinswa state park too.
You can hear the chickens and dogs at the neighboring properties, but they are not bothersome.
We both had decent cell coverage with Verizon and Straight Talk.
Directions were very easy to follow and Meghan responded quickly to questions.
Can't wait to come back!!

This was a cute and private site! We loved going there and it's location was easy to find and great for the 4 year old and dog that we had with us! Make sure to check out the lake if you go!

I almost don’t want to write this review because I want this place all to myself buuuuut here goes:
This is my 2nd time staying at Meghan’s Wooded Getaway and I will be back - so you’ll have to compete with me for bookings! 😉
1st Visit: a bunch of girlfriends and I stayed here in late July. The property was big enough for our five ground tents, my truck tent set up, as well as another RV. Plenty of parking is available as well. With all of that we still had plenty of space on the grassy area for a rowdy game of badminton and to throw a frisbee around for the dogs.
2nd Visit: my son and I camped here for 2 nights during 1st week of August. He loved it and he too wants to return.
Both visits we enjoyed hanging out at the fire-pit at night, the convenience of having a BBQ grill, an outdoor sink and counter area for prep and clean up of meals and a covered eating area. There’s water to clean with as well as electricity if needed. There’s even a port-a-potty on site YAY!
This camp is very private - no campers next door to bother you or get annoyed if you stay up talking around the campfire all night. My dogs LOVE it and I like that I don’t have to keep them on a leash. With that being said if your doggies tend to wander off I suggest a leash or lead line.
The camp is in close proximity to outdoor recreational activities. Just a few miles off of Hwy 12, you’re in the heart of the White Pass Scenic Area. Mt Rainier is within reach for a day trip, and Mayfield Lake is just a 10 min drive. We brought our kayaks and had a blast at the lake swimming and paddling before heading back to camp.
The best thing about this little getaway property is the host, Meghan. She was awesome to work with and was super responsive during the booking process as well as to all of my annoying questions. Thank you Meghan!!
P.S. in case you forget your alarm clock, there’s a rooster somewhere nearby that lets you know the sun is up. We adore him ♥️

My fiance and I had a wonderful time at this cozy slice of heaven. With a thick tree line you have plenty of privacy as well as that "out in nature feeling." With beautiful flowers and so much space our dogs absolutely loved running around this large lot and could see with the tree line where not to wonder. Id like to also give props to meghan herself for being such a kind and generous host. She was very informative and responsive when we did have questions. I definitely hope to return some day soon.
