We enjoyed our stay, even though the trip was shorten due to storm and our tent literally broke. It’s peaceful place, the animals are cute and host is friendly. There are bnb house, cabins next to camping area so you will see other people who are staying in the farm. But the camping area is very large and you’ll get all the view. Remember it is camping in animal farm so you will see animal 💩 everywhere, and using composting toilet is not comfortable for everyone (there is a public toilet in town which is about 15 mins drive).

Had the best welcome yet to a Hipcamp - Alpacas waiting at the gate when we entered the driveway. They are such sweet gentle creatures, be sure to try the walking with Alpacas Experience with Brigitte.
You have the large field all to yourself & a few furry Alpaca friends. Beautiful views of the valley, sunset and stars at night. Clean composting toilets. We had a wonderful overnight stay here at Alternative Views.

Had the best time meeting brigette, getting fresh eggs, cuddling the baby alpacas and learning about them. Enjoyed being surrounded by them on our site and waking up to them was a dream! LOVED IT

What a beautiful part of the world! We were luckily and had the whole area to ourselves, with exception of the beautiful inquisitive alpacas that surrounded us in their paddocks. Having a fire pit in our area keep us warm in a chilly night and the bathroom was clean and close to the vicinity to where we camped.

The camping area was in a gentle sloping paddock suitable for tents and caravans with amazing views into the valley below. Having free roaming alpacas wandering around the property was a fantastic experience, alpaca tours are also run for a more hands on experience.
Composting toilet and shower facilities were basic but handy to have, if a few groups were camping being self sufficient would be preferred.
A great place to get away and experience the workings of an alpaca farm, main town less than 10 minutes away for any supplies.

Really enjoy the camping weekend.
Unforgettable view and Alpaca walk. Enough distance between each campsite, it’s quite and private at night. Provided fire pit made our days!

Great spot to camp, facilities were clean & conveniently located on the edge of the field.
Fire pits were a must for cold nights, probably need a bit more wood than is provided.
The owners were really friendly & helpful…we had a great weekend.

We stayed in the farm in our campervan for a night. Beautiful location, clean and spotless amenities, hot shower. Brigitte and Keith were lovely hosts.

We arrived in the clouds as the weather had turned soured. However, as it got better we had an amazing time with Brigitte and Keith who were fantastic hosts!
The site is well serviced with a toilet, hot shower and a sink which helps with washing up. Fire pits are available, wood can be purchased ($20 cash), you're close to Mirboo North in case you need a coffee!
Best of all you'll be spending time with the alpacas. Highly recommended and definitely we'll be back.

Stunning views and Kitkat was very helpful and my son even got the chance to feed a newborn alpaca and get a ride on a tractor. Lovely place with a great atmosphere.

Just got back from spending two nights here. Upon arrival Keith greeted me at the entrance and advised that I could park anywhere in the first paddock that wasn't blocking a gate. I chose to set up furthest from the buildings, on a flat site with a great view of the valley. Then the weather suddenly changed -- thick fog, horizontal rain and strong winds -- so I didn't see much of the alpacas, but could hear their noises from my tent. Good Telstra 4G signal but no Optus coverage at all, if that's important to you. I would definitely try this site again, it looked perfect until the weather turned bad.

Really wonderful stay! The views were fantastic, Brigitte and Keith were great hosts and it was just so special to be surrounded by their gorgeous alpacas. Our 4 year old had a blast and we can’t wait to come back.

Great views! Very friendly alpacas who camp right up to us at our campsite. We went looking for koalas but didn’t see one. We woke up in the clouds. Highly recommend this camp for a relaxing break.

Highly recommend this place. Beautiful setting in a hill with sunset views. The Alpaca experience was awesome. We hired a fire pit which was super easy. Thankyou Brigette!

Thank you so much to Brigitte for sharing your land to the public. It was a beautiful stay, incredible views, we had a range of weather as you do up high which was very enjoyable to experience! We forgot to pack our sun shade which would have been good as not too much tree coverage on the land, however we explored throughout the day so it didn’t bother us too much, something to be aware of is all! The sunset views were a real highlight as were the Alpacas roaming behind the fence line, the sounds of the birds and koalas and the solid amount of space we were able to have around us thanks to the size of the property. The toilet and showers were perfect, really impressed with them both. We ran out of time to visit the shop and do the tour but would def do next time. Thanks again for having us!
