Logan Park Farm is an historic 4th generation family farm with beef cattle and cropping set on the Logan River with beautiful surroundings in the Scenic Rim. The property was first settled in the 1840’s and became the headquarters of Tamrookum Station in 1878 when Robert Collins and his family purchased the property. At Logan Park Farm we have camping grounds and Murphy's Country Accommodation - a three bedroom cottage. Search for Murphy's through Hipcamp. Open for bookings for Christmas and New Year - numbers are limited. No large parties. We prefer to promote a quieter area. Scenic Rim Regional Council Camp Ground Licence Acc21/0010 Just over an hour from the Gold Coast and Brisbane. Beautiful sunsets, mountain views, birds and quiet surroundings. Enjoy the stars on a clear night. Explore the beautiful Scenic Rim area from here. Visit the historic Tamrookum All Saints Memorial Church. The camp sites are spacious with plenty of distance between each site - no crowds. Children aged 12 years and under no charge (please do not include them in your numbers) Pet friendly off-grid camping. There are no facilities here, if you do not have toilet facilities please do not book any of our sties. All sites are unpowered. No motorboats or motor bikes. No parties - this is a quiet camping area please keep noise including music to a minimum level. Please respect our wildlife, neighbours and your camping neighbours at all times. Enjoy our large camp sites with family and friends. A large natural lagoon and the Logan River provide opportunities to relax, swim, fish or kayak. An abundance of Carp and Tilapia provide great fishing opportunities at the Lagoon or the Logan River. Larger groups welcome on some sites please message hosts. There are permanent residents living nearby the camp sites, please consider your camping neighbours and our neighbours. Noise travels easily in the evening please reduce noise by 9pm. Firewood available, either book through Hipcamp or purchase direct at the farm. Tamrookum Store is 2 kilometres away for general goods and take away food.

Carp Central

A beautiful spot to stay for a peaceful getaway. Sites are huge and private. Grounds are well kept. We visited specifically for the fishing but sadly all we managed to catch was turtles!

The Old Boat Ramp (2WD Access)

We had a wonderful couple of days relaxing at Libby’s beautiful place. Well maintained, lots of bird life and relaxing mountain and water views. Thank you for sharing your special place with us Libby, we didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to be back 😊

Deluxe camping at its best

The Old Boat Ramp on Logan Park Farm is a perfect place to get away and totally wind down. Camping by the water is very relaxing and it never ceases to amaze us how many different birds you get to see. Libby is a great host and each site is immaculately kept.

River Bird Spotters (4wd access)

Loved our stay with our two border collies, plenty of space of them to run around without being near other sites. We enjoyed the peaceful and beautiful space and would stay again in a heartbeat. Thanks Libby!
