Edges Sideroad A-Frame
The amount of space and trails available at this camp was exceptional. Our stay was secluded and peaceful. The A frame was perfect for the 2 of us and 2 dogs. We met some very friendly day visitors who also expressed their love for this property. Hosts were friendly and easy to deal with. And went above by leaving a lil bday surprise and some fresh picked fiddleheads to boot. We are in the works planning our next getaway at this location for each season to come! Thanks for your hospitality. See you again soon ☺️

We stayed in the A Frame cabin, it's very cute and cozy. They had a propane heater to keep you warm in the evening and it is well insulated. You're perfectly tucked in between field and forest. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. Lots of little trails on the grounds to explore and in the surrounding area. Sat outside at night and watched the stars. We drove 20mins to Kinghurst Nature Reserve, definitely worth checking out as well. Highly recommend and look forward to going back again.

Serenity by the pond
The camping site was very clean and calm. We stayed at a site nearby a pond. The hosts were very friendly warm and welcoming. The property is beautiful and big with trails and artesian well. We were able to gaze the stars at night. Overall will highly recommend the site.

I have been looking for a glamping location for a while and found this place - it did not disappoint! Beautiful place, great hosts, cozy A Frame and a wonderful option for these like me who are not experienced campers, but enjoy spending time in nature. We will definitely be back!! Thank you 😊

We loved this little A-frame cabin! Brent & Sue had the heater and a fire started for us when we arrived, so we felt so welcome! Clear sky for stargazing, beautiful snowy fields and trees. Our dog had so much fun, too. Everything was clean and cozy, and we can't wait to visit again!

What a beautiful property and wonderful hosts! We went to see the northern lights which we didn’t see because of the weather but the cabin was cozy and the stars we didn’t see see were beautiful!

I had such a wonderful visit at Edges Sideroad Springs! Susan and Brent were very welcoming and kind, and were able to clearly communicate the details required for my stay. I felt cozy nestled up in the cabin, and thoroughly enjoyed the beauty of their land. Nothing beats a night time campfire with a good view of the stars. I would definitely visit again.

Such a peaceful tranquil a frame with a propane heater that kept the space exceptionally warm during the first snow fall of December 2024. The cabin is Nestled amongst nature trails and natural springs for you to explore during your stay, I mostly enjoyed having a campfire in my pjs, it was so warm from the wood provided for a donation of 10 dollars the snow was falling so fiercely and the fire roaring so bright it was one of the most beautiful nights I’ve ever experienced. The owners were more than accommodating as due to the winter storm it was a very late, very last minute booking, and the owner had the long lane way to the cabin already plowed where my little lowered car was able to manage without a concern. They also allowed for a later check out due to the weather and the space not having been booked for the following day. There is two out buildings fully stocked with dug outs and shavings supplied for when nature calls. This place is definitely going to be seeing me again especially during the warmer weather where the acres of trails and forest can be fully enjoyed!

We had am amazing stay at the site, our only regret was not booking more than a night’s stay. Gracious hosts and a cutie dog. Would 100% recommend choosing this place.

My parents recently took a one-day vacation and, unfortunately, lost their way near their destination. It was dark, and they felt a bit anxious. Fortunately, Mr. Brent kindly came to their rescue, guiding them to their destination with great patience. Despite the rainy weather, they had a wonderful time and truly appreciated his hospitality. We're looking forward to our next holiday there! Thank you so much!

Incredible stargazing!! This is a perfect spot to come for a special astronomical occurrence - we saw the Aurora Borealis the night we were there! Cabin was cozy, firewood was great and abundant, grounds were fun to explore, lots of cute little towns around if you like country drives. Would be good for a large group if you each booked one of the campsites - lots of space to run and play and a lovely little pond for floating :)

We loved the large open field! Perfect for getting a 360 view of the full sky, which we took full advantage of to see the ethereal northern lights show! The cabin was a cozy size-easy to keep warm with the gas heater they provided. A nice wooded trail & a pond access we explored in the morning, with multiple sites that would be great for a group camp. The spring water tasted great & lots of wood was provided for cheap. Hosts were sweet hearts and even brang us some honey from their bees in the morning before we headed out. 10/10 would camp again!

Very chatty and helpful host. Have always wanted to try out an A-frame. Price was reasonable and location not too secluded. 2WD ok. Propane heating came in handy when it was chilly. Firewood extra. Firepit on site. 2 outhouses.
For supermarkets, restaurants, laundry and car washes, Durham minutes away or even better, Hanover and Walkerton half an hour or a bit more away respectively.

Nestled among the cedars
This is a beautiful piece of land. Susan and Brent were very friendly and helpful. They allowed us to switch to a better suited site for our set up. We will definitely be back!

The hosts Susan and Brent were very warm and hospitable. Their campsites are amazing, it offers different themes and lots of privacy and was very clean. They provide unlimited firewood at a small extra cost which was great. Their property is large and has a stream and hiking trails. We were with our newborn and everything went great. Highly recommend.

We had a great time camping here! We couldn't ask for better hosts. Susan and Brent made us feel very welcome and were really helpful. Brent showed us around their beautiful property and also let us know about local hiking trails as well. All their campsites are spacious and private. We were camping with our newborn and we felt safe the entire time. We recommend it and we will definitely be back.

The a-frame cabin was cozy. The host was pleasant, providing a tour of the grounds and quick responses to any questions. The area was quiet and well maintained. The outhouse was clean and well stocked. Dry firewood was available on site for a small fee. Picnic table, log seats and wooden Adirondack chairs surrounded the fire pit. The camp grounds were situated away from the main residence, making it feel like a secluded camping experience. My young dog and I camped during the week and we had the whole place to ourselves.
