The amenities were nice. Camping with a queen sized bed and a hot shower is great. Location is great. However, I read one review that mentioned things being dirty on the outside of the tents. This review seemed a bit silly, but they weren't wrong. Going through the decking once a week and clearing off spider webs would do wonders for the property. They were everywhere and they were thick. I cleared the ones next to my tent with a stick when I got there and they stayed gone for the 2 night stay. It seems like y'all could have done that? Occasionally spraying off the outsides of the tent would be nice. It all felt a lil unmaintained. If you stay here, I recommend one of the tents on their own individual platforms instead of the ones on the shared decking. They seemed a lot cleaner.
Also a note to the property managers, if you're going to tell your guests a name of their tent (like layla's dream) then use that somewhere visible? There were visible numbers when I got there but I wasn't provided a tent number I was provided a name that wasn't displayed anywhere. I ran into another guest that was looking for their tent at 10 o clock at night and trying to find something that said the name they were giving. I told them those are useless and not to bother looking for it.

Unfortunately,the description of this place is nothing like in person.The campsites are closer together then expected.They also allowed extra people to camp out with their own tents with a fee.The fans died half way through the night and the bathrooms are just plywood boards.

This is a great place! We highly enjoyed it! Comfortable beds, nice bathrooms, they thought of it all! Grills, fire pits, even a rack to hang your wet clothes!

Great small little area to camp at where it's less populated than your traditional campground. I would say, the tents and fire pits are roughly 50' from one another so you can hear conversations and etc... Inside the tent, firepit area, and restrooms were clean. The cooking grill wasn't usable but thankfully I was prepared and brought a portable gas stove. REMINDER THERE IS NO ELECTRICITY, but the host will provide you with a small portable battery pack that will last a few hours. The host is responsive, helpful, and checked up on us to see if we were doing okay.

Everything was very clean and cozy. Battery operated lanterns are provided, which was helpful. We weren't as far off the road as i had expected. The only major issue is that all the grills are rusted out at the bottom, so we did all the cooking on an open fire, which was fine since the burn ban was lifted. If there is a burn ban current to your stay, be prepared to improvise with the grilling.

Host Gilda was very kind and helpful. She provided batteries and individual generator for charging portable devices. Tents are good and beds are comfortable.
Cons:
1. Bathrooms are too far. If we need to use in the middle of the night it is tough since there are no lights at the property.
2. No trash cans at the tents.
3. No electricity and fans are not enough with this heat. Even with two fans tent was super hot we pretty much avoided going back to the tent in the day time.
4. It was pitch dark at the property and sometimes there was no one. Not sure about the safety in the area.

It’s a nice and quiet place to stay. They provided firewood, lamp, fans, and clean beds. It was really great experience stayed here.

It was a great experience! The location was amazing close to everything in hochatown! Was super close to the lake couldn’t have asked for a better spot!

Lovely setup. It felt remote but it was close enough to do whatever we wanted and there are plenty of things around to keep the kids occupied.
The decks are neat. The birds woke us up every day. The hospitality was great.

Gilda is AMAZING!! So sweet, so accommodating. The tents are set up great, fans were so helpful with the heat.
I suggest bringing a couple extra of your own battery powered fans if you like it cold at night!!

We enjoyed camping at Glampin' In Style. Although the weather was very hot, our host provided battery powered fans to help cool down the tent. She was very friendly and responsive to our needs. The tents were tall enough to stand in and the beds were clean and comfortable! Each campsite has its own fire pit and charcoal grill. We were able to arrive later in the evening and everything was already set up and ready for us to use. Definitely the easiest tent camping experience I've ever had!

Gilda is all amazing! She supplied so much for us when we needed it. The tent was cute and the area was so peaceful. It felt retreated away but was actually close to a number of things.
Wouldn't recommend if you're trying to budget, but to splurge on a cute accommodation, go for it!
Definitely make sure to bring battery-powered fans if you stay during the warmer temps!

The beds were great! Super comfortable and the sheets were so soft! The battery powered fans were way more powerful than I expected and were very helpful. I loved having the deck to be up off the soggy ground as it rained a little before we arrived and while there. It did feel less fresh than the pictures led me to believe. Most of the tents were mildewed from weather which could be the reality of canvas tents that stay up but the pictures led me to believe I was showing up to something different. There were also fun light strings along the deck that would have been awesome if they worked. There were spotlights to light the walkway to the bathroom but those also didn’t work. Had they all not been there I wouldn’t have known I was missing out. I say better to remove than not work. We also rented a particular tent. We were given a different one. We were able to switch to one that was in less sun but turns out the one we reserved wasn’t prepared for guests.

Our experience was great and Gilda was a communicative and thorough host. The tents and camping areas were spacious, well-kept, and had everything we could ask for. There were a few things that weren't listed in the original posting that we had to clarify with Gilda before coming but she was always responsive and helpful in her correspondence. We would definitely return!

We absolutely loved camping here! It was way less work that traditional tent camping, but still rustic and so close to everything! Our camping neighbors were all wonderful too. We will definitely be back!

This camp is a really neat communal area. The running creek behind the tents was so nice and relaxing at night and in the mornings waking up. The tents were spacious and beds were super comfy!

The camp was great, Gilda is awesome, and location to town and attractions was good. While we wished we were further in the woods, the babbling brook behind that drowned out some of the neighborhood noise. Otherwise we found the camp clean and relaxing place to stay.

Gilda was an excellent host! Great communication. We came in after dark. She met us at a designated location and drove us to our yurt. She has thought of everything!! Very clean, very spacious and it had a nice recreational area with fire pit, chairs and barbecue grill. The shower was hot and the bathroom was clean. The location is close to everything in town as well as Beaver Bend lake and hiking trails. We will definitely stay again. Ty Gilda!!

Site & accommodations were everything you could imagine and more. Location is right in the middle of everything to do. Gilda was a great host and made sure all our needs were met. You cant go wrong Glamping with Gilda.

Was a nice peaceful place there is alot of things to do & see. The area is beautiful. We were lucky and had the whole area to ourselves. The host always made sure we had fresh batteries for our fans...the beds were very comfy...plenty of room in the tents.. our tent had plenty of shade during the day.

Our stay was awesome ! The perfect place to stay if you want to camp outside but also have good nights sleep and hot showers. My family loved our trip there and we are definitely coming back. Also the location was 2-10 min away from everything you could need or want to do out there like fishing ,swimming, horseback riding , canoes/paddle boats , go carts, bowling , hiking, etc.

Gilda was lovely! We luckily got the whole campsite to ourselves and it was amazing. Bathroom and tent were super clean! Would recommend the bench swing on the porch. We spent most of our time there. The creek behind the site was unexpected and made the whole trip.

We all had a wonderful experience. Gilda was very helpful. 3 boys thought they were in heaven with camping and camp fire life. It was very nice and peaceful. Loved all the other campers we met there. We would love to do this again.

Exactly what we were looking for! It feels like camping but just not as much work lol! The place was relaxing and quiet. Gilda went out of her way to accomadate both of our parties so we could have tents on the same platform 😊 We highly recommend if you are looking for the camping feeling but still want clean bathrooms and showers nearby.

Gilda was very kind and accommodating. She was available 24/7 for any problems that might’ve arised during your stay. The experience of staying in a teepee was so cool! Definitely checked this one off my bucket list. But a quick tip, don’t go during a heat wave ;)

Gilda and her daughter were both extremely kind and accommodating. It was very hot when we camped, but they went through the effort of buying new oscillating fans and hooking them up to a generator so we could have some cool air. The teepees are spacious and the campsite in general is private yet communal. Very cute setup and, again, very nice people!
