We're back online after spending some time refreshing our property! Leaf peepers and stargazers welcome. Come stay with us! The people of Ulster County and those who visit have a long history of enjoying the great outdoors and we bought this property to do just that! The property has many interesting aspects including great views, old stone walls, old building foundations, and lots of wildlife. The babbling Brandy Brook runs along the edge of the property and though shallow is ready to dip your toes into. We have cleared multiple trails and they are ready for you to explore. Local legend says that Mr. Dowe himself lived and farmed here and even had a small distillery on the property. My husband Andrew and I hail from Brooklyn NY and split our time between the city and the beautiful Catskills. Learn more about this land: 100 secluded acres in the Catskills will be at your disposal at our Brandy Brook Pines campsites! We have 2 sites available on site: (1) Starlite Stay - a new Coleman Travel Trailer that sleeps 4-6 comfortably and (2) The Meadow - a classic site that can accommodate a tent, a pop up, a travel trailer, or RV. The firepit is shared if both sites are booked. We are located in the Rondout Valley nestled between the Catskill Mountains and the Shawangunk Mountains. Our property has great views, hiking trails, and a serene and babbling brook you can explore or lounge near with a good book! We are a short drive away from the towns of Ellenville and Kerhonkson as well as popular hiking and climbing areas in and around Minnewaska State Park. Campers will have access to the basement bathroom inside the house as needed. We will provide garbage bags/bins to campers and ask that all campers practice leave no trace (LNT) principles and take their trash when they leave! The Meadow at Brandy Brook
Great site, with incredible mountain views. We relaxed and enjoyed watching the wildlife and listening to the wind in the trees. A truly peaceful campsite. Great hosts that checked in with us but gave us plenty of privacy.

The Meadow at Brandy Brook
Emily's property is gorgeous! There is a beautiful lawn, woods and a giant fire pit that sits atop a slight hill where you can hang out and stare into the distant mountains all day. The grounds are well kept with many trails to explore. We were blessed with spring-like weather in December but by night it had quickly turned rainy and windy - stop we had a great time. Emily is quick at responding to messages and was in constant contact with us when that windy weather knocked the power out in the area. Oh yeah! And the bathroom with flushable toilet was clutch - that little bit of luxury was awesome. I'd love to come back one day with calmer weather or during the fall to bathe in glorious foliage.

Lovely space! The views were delightful, the fire pit was massive, the bathroom was super convenient, and the location was great. Host was responsive and helpful. Would absolutely return!

Such a beautiful and serene camping spot. We had such a great time and will most definitely be back. Emily was great regarding all communication. Farmers markets and wineries are close within driving distance as well as gas stations for firewood and water. Lots to do and wish we could have stayed longer.

Host Emily is very nice, she sent detailed and useful check in instructions ahead. The full bathroom is pretty clean and convenient. In the morning time, the view from campsite is so amazing, we really enjoyed this trip!

What a wonderful spot tucked in the foothills of the Catskills and a short drive to minnewaska as well. We camped up near the Fire pit to enjoy some nice mountain sunrise views and it did not disappoint. It’s a bit steep if you are lugging heavy gear, just an FYI. Just the sounds of tree frogs and rustling leaves, and some rain when we where there. Bathroom was clean and tidy. Would definitely book again.

Had a great stay at Brandy Brook Pines. It's a beautiful property wth a beautiful vista tucked away in the forest. Really cool fire pit for the evenings. Emily is a very friendly and helpful host. Fantastic place.

Lovely land with a great view over the rolling hills north of the property. Great, clean bathroom with a shower and hot/cold water. There is an awesome private stone fire circle that’s huge and we cooked and ate up there, as our kitchen. We only met the owner briefly and he was really nice. Requested we didn’t leave trash on site as a bear has been getting into it and making a mess… didn’t see said bear. East to find, near some nice landscape and a reservoir. Lots of Mosquitos but jungle juice and a candle dealt with them.

The campsite was fantastic. The view and the space was just perfect. Really nice bathroom. We had the campsite to ourselves. Emily answered all my text messages and even made suggestions as to where I can visit in the area. My guests and I really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you Emily!

The place is absolutely amazing, there is so much space in the campground that it feels like you have an entire hill for yourself. The bathroom was spotless and Emily was an incredible host. Definitely recommended and would visit again.

The Meadow at Brandy Brook
First time doing a hip camp. If all hip camps are like this one I'll definitely be doing it again. The site had so much open space you can hold a soccer match. It was great for throwing a boomerang around without issue. The surrounding area was great for some hiking as well. What I really appreciate were the little things that were provided by Emily and Andrew for example garbage bags and dishwasher soap. I will definitely be coming back with my nephew and niece once Legoland is open.
