Scribbly Campsite
It was nice to have a quiet spot to ourselves and have a fire. Lovely big trees and bird life.

We stayed over night on a rainy day.
The setting would be nice on a drier day. There is plenty of tree coverage so solar recharges would be a problem. Make sure your batteries are fully charged before you arrive.
We are a 21’6” caravan and Patrol. Our Overall length around 13metres. So,
It was difficult getting into the site by threading through the trees with millimeters to spare.
This site is suitable for tents, camper trailers and small caravans.
The host was good and left us alone.

Great little site nice and close to brisbane. My doggos and I had a relaxing time, despite the wet weather! Richard was a lovely host, very helpful and accommodating. The site is well kept, has plenty of firewood to collect and use in the firepit provided, and the birds and local wildlife were great companions. Great for a little get away, or even just to test your camping set up close to home if you are a beginner.

What you want out of a campsite and you get to stay close to CBD Richmond. Bit hard to find (opposite of Scribbly gums). Neighbouring houses seemed a bit dodge

At Scribbly Campsite, you feel as though you’re right in the bush but you’re just a few kilometres from shops and services and tourist attractions. It is directly opposite the Scribbly Gums Conservation Area which has kilometres of walking tracks. No water or power, so come prepared. As it is rather shady, solar power top-up was limited; but for a few days it was fine. Will stay here again.

What a great little spot, tucked away in nature so close to Brisbane. We had an amazing stay! So many walking/biking tracks so close, so much beautiful wildlife too. The owners are extremely friendly and welcoming. So much firewood for you to burn too. We will be back for sure, we had such a relaxing time.
