We had a great time. The only things we found that were missing was the lack of knowledge about the bathroom situation and it’s timing. Also no distinguishable campfire areas.

We had a great time! We came in the evening with 3 kids. Super easy check in! Wish we had more time to taste more beers after we set up camp. The beers we did drink were amazing! Everyone was beyond friendly and gracious. Campsite was large and beyond sufficient. I would absolutely stay again.

Taphouse Camping Retreat
My husband & I loved car camping at the tap house. It was a very cool & unique experience. The brewhaus staff was very friendly & accomodating!

Jeff was great to work with. Super laid back and easy-going. The Brewhaus was awesome. Not what I'd expected to find in small-town Kentucky. Great beer selection, great house brews (better than both breweries in Paducah), great bartender, and a fun trivia night on the Thursday night that I stayed." Would be a great spot for a group of guys getting together!

When we arrived Jeff was there and was accomodating. He Introduced us to his crew (bartender and cook) and showed us the site.
The site is just the side and back of the taphouse. There is not a lot of flat ground but enough for several campers. Out back is a "beer garden" that was fantastic. It had lots of lights and tables set up outdoors. The bathrooms were clean and in the back of the brewhouse. They were not available in the morning (it was closed).
We loved our stay! We ate in the bar and had a great burger and tacos. In the morning we cooked in the beer garden and left.
This is a great place for a cross country stay. There is some good hiking close by but we arrived in the fall and it was dark when we got there.

Taphouse Camping Retreat
Taphouse Camping Retreat is nestled into a beautifully wooded area in Brenton, Kentucky. During our stay the fall colors lit up the trees in spectacular fashion and made our experience quite cozy. There is abundant space for tenting in the surrounding yards, in addition to picnic tables and a grill for cooking meals. If you like beer, the taphouse offers an array of local brews as well as games and atmosphere. The campsite did have some overflow noise from the late night bar patrons and some dogs next door. For us this was a good spot to stay before spending a day in the beautiful Land Between the Lakes.

As wonderful as you could hope for from a Taphouse. Good beers on tap, a shaded beer garden to enjoy all day and night, very hospitable hosts, and a great location just 15 minutes from the lakes. There is also a quaint drive in movie theater within ten minutes that was great.

Taphouse Camping Retreat
Great tap house with many selection and plenty of space for camping. There are portapottys and an outside shower stall. The tap house has air conditioning and is fully remodeled with brand new bathrooms. Great atmosphere and very friendly owners. Terry and Jeff. Have fun folks!!

Had a great time! We came for the eclipse and it was so fun to meet other eclipsers and the brew pub folks. How handy to have access to fancy beer while camping out!

We camped out for the eclipse and had an amazing time! The owners and staff were amazingly hospitable, and we met some awesome local people and other out-of-towners. This was the first time they'd had campers and many of us encouraged them to keep doing it! So much fun :)

Taphouse Camping Retreat
We had an awesome time and experience! The atmosphere of the bar is welcoming and the owner and staff are very friendly. We camped the night before the eclipse and were able to listen to great live music when waiting for totality to occur during the eclipse. Place is new, but I sure hope it does well as it certainly deserves to.

Great spot. Taproom has a large selection of beer and the grounds are very accommodating with on-site toilets, firepit, and communal sitting areas. Very close to the lakes and everyone was very friendly, eager to help or just talk for a bit.

Loved the cold-water shower in this heat, loved the beer, the bathroom access and thoughtful portajohns. Location was perfect for the eclipse, and there's not a thing to be done about the weather. Also loved the quiet hours, I actually got a good night's sleep.
Would suggest getting a food truck or having some sort of dining option, since it's a brewpub.
Would also suggest bushogging/mowing a bit better. Lots of brambles, sticks, and critter holes/nests to stumble through in search of a good tent site.
