Located off-grid on Elliott Creek, the headwaters of the Rogue River, and 3mi from beautiful Applegate Lake, just across the OR/CA line. This area has many old mining claims and the land was once full of folks collecting gold from the creek and surrounding area. Now, six off-grid homes remain along the creek on this safe, gated piece of land. With unique cabins, domes, treehouse, a bus, magical abodes and camping sites, we host a variety of travelers throughout the year. Our property is totally off-grid utilizing solar energy for lights, running water, wifi and power. We have a wonderful solar shower and Elliott creek for swimming, playing, and fishing, woodstoves for heat & cooking, and organic veggies in our spacious garden! We believe in a sustainable lifestyle and are looking forward to sharing our home with likeminded adventurers! ⛺️

      Our three days at Applegate Haven were purely magical and healing in so many ways. I could not have been more pleased with our stay. The creek is absolutely beautiful and such a welcomed refuge during the hot afternoons. The hosts were very open, welcoming and kind. Added bonuses were the hot solar shower in the afternoon, incredible stars at night and freshly picked blackberries in the morning.

      It was okay

      Johan & Lisa and their site keepers were great. Very friendly and gave a great tour of the site. Johan was a very impressive builder. It was a great time.
