The location is beautiful, quiet, and peaceful. If you do however decide to stay at the campsites, prepare for some discomfort. The campground as whole left more to be desired for sure. The signage is very confusing. The first day when we came in, it was pretty hard to figure out where we were, where we were going, and what was for us to use. The biggest pain point was definitely the restroom situation. Never have had too much issue using a pit toilet but these ones felt especially neglected by the host. The showers were nice, very clean, but the toilets had little privacy, a lot of bugs, and not many amenities like extra toilet paper. The listing advertises a flush toilet but it is very far from the campsite, you are much better off driving to it. There is only one flush toilet attached to the hosts home and you share it with all the cabin goers, which are usually large groups of families. If you are not too worried about using the restroom because you have an RV or would opt to bring your own compost toilet, you’ll probably be pretty well off. About half the sites seem to have their own hose with running water, which was handy. Be careful of mosquitoes though! The campsites are all surrounding a still pond which seems to be the source for the mosquitoes. First thing in the morning you will get swarmed, but once the sun is out they tend to go away. I didn’t try the trails on the site, they have no map and it was a bit daunting to brave the brush with no guidance haha
