North Beach Campground at Pismo Beach has 103 campsites with pay showers, dump sites, restrooms and fire rings. The campsites are located in a grassy field, with the beach only yards away (score!). Each campsite can accommodate up to 8 people and positions campers ridiculously close to Monarch Grove. Overall, this is a wonderful place for a beach camping experience!

Campground isn't that great - just a big open area. Too crowded to be my style. But the dunes behind the campground, the boardwalk trail, and the access to everything in the area is amazing. Find a dune to sit on for sunset, one of the best sunset spots around :)

Stunning sunsets on the dunes behind the campground. No filter needed :)

A little like a bunch of camp sites strewn across a field. Not the most atmospheric of environments to camp in. But as soon as you cross the dunes, heading to the sea, it's quite spectacular so make sure you get a beach walk in.

Make the trek over the dunes to the beach.. it's worth it.

What an amazing campground for what it is. Of course it's going to be slammed at all times - the location is bomb and the price is cheaper than some surrounding sites. By no means is it cheap!!! but.... Great bathroom and shower facilities - not much privacy, but at least it's nicely spread out. Great lawn areas for kids and the grownups to play.
