Nomadic camping
Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
The Silver Bell Ranch is 44 acres in the Templeton Gap wine region and within a few miles of Paso Roble wine country. There is a magnificent and private site in the middle of a small vineyard. The site is under a huge and gorgeous blue oak that shades the site. The site is best for self-contained RV's, but water is available and a generator also if needed. A second site offers pull-through, level parking for self-contained units but also has water available. The ranch is pasture and rolling hills with a two-acre vineyard of beautiful local views of surrounding hills and ranches. The sites are private, quiet and peaceful. The Silver Bell is minutes from Templeton and Paso Robles AVA wineries and 3/4 of an hour from the ocean, and minutes to hot springs in Paso Robles. Paso Robles. Atascadero and San Luis Obispo and San Miguel are all within easy drives. Atascadero is a fifteen minutes drive away; San Luis Obispo is a half hour drive. The ranch is gated for privacy; guests are restricted to the RV sites. The (Big) Blue Oak site is under a magnificent, shaded blue oak inside a fenced vineyard with views of surrounding countryside. Under the oak in the shaded area is a picnic table if needed. There is water near the site. The ranch is @ 4 miles to both Paso Robles and Templeton, in the heart of the Templeton Gap winery area. Victor Hugo Winery is on the other side of our hill. One class B or one vehicle towing a trailer. Easy backing. Minimal leveling may be needed. Quiet generators ok. Leash needed if dog is a runner.
