Description

So you’re stuck in traffic again in San Diego. Big surprise. You’re pretty angry with the human beings around you, with the paved roads (who’s idea was the U.S interstate system anyway?), with the bustle of that daily 9-5 job. Interested in a scenic retreat away from civilization? Arroyo Seco is one of two primitive campgrounds Cuyamaca offers. It’s hike or horseback ride-in and has 4 scattered tent sites for plenty of privacy from other campers. Sites are either along a footpath or a nearby road. No campfires allowed here and no potable water, so be prepared to rough it a bit and find your inner wilderness survivor. Then head out into the wilderness for some fresh air and down time. Rejuvenate. Your co workers, friends, and loved ones will probably thank you for it.
