Step back into the "Old Vermont" countryside, the way life used to be...on this 7 acre eclectic hobby farm surrounded by other farms, rolling hills and trails.

It's Fall; the nights are brisk and the skies are an amazing display of stars, warm days and beautiful colors abound.  Apples, hay rides, and pumpkins are everywhere! Enjoy the little things!

Two Campsites open currently (plus 3 truck/van/camper sites, please see Maple Ridge Camper Vans) to chose from in a variety of terrain/layout in the rolling fields (other sites are paused for the winter); all have fire rings, cooking grates, folding picnic tables/folding tables:

Field-View 1 (Site#1) is just that, in the field but offers privacy from the other smaller site and great views of the Hollow/Valley and the Eastern Mountain Range. This site can accommodate larger groups and multiple tents in and around an old Horse Round Pen/Paddock (Site 1),

Field-View 2 (Site#2) is smaller and more flexible; chose form an area under the giant pine tree or overlooking the apple trees or at the top of the field overlooking the neighboring 1880s Farmhouse and Barn.

Both are nearby the Communal Fire Pit/Cook Area and a two-story clubhouse with slide and porch swing (for kids) and are fairly flat, level terrain and an easy walk to/from car parking area.

*All under 5 minute walk from parking area but load-in/load-out provided by host via UTV Side By Side.  Parking area on property for all vehicles, near barns and Rec Room, Shower, and Outhouse.

*Possible accommodations for motorcycle campers in Field View Areas only.  Also, Camper Vans in and around parking area near barns (no electrical/water hook-ups), message in advance for more details or go to "Maple Ridge Camper Van" site for more info on accommodating small trailers and van/truck campers.

Stroll the farm grounds and pick your own apples and try making homemade apple cider (in-season), farm fresh eggs available right from the hens, fresh veggies and sunflowers (in-season), many horse farms in the vicinity may offer lessons/riding nearby within 2-3 miles, or hike/mountain bike the abounding trails, most of which are directly across the road behind Guilford Fairgrounds! Weatherhead Hollow Pond is about 1.5 miles down the road and is approximately a mile long and offers many watersports (fishing, sunbathing, swimming, kayaking and small non-motorized boating).

Our farm in Guilford is about 4 mile drive to downtown Brattleboro but many trails, swimming/boating/fishing holes, state parks, ice cream stands and a general store are all within 2-3 miles away in Guilford.

Great site and host. Pond view sites are private and elevated. Ice cream and swimming are a very short drive away, numerous hiking options nearby. Farm itself is great for kids. Note that your car and the outhouse are a short but steep walk away from the Pond View sites — don’t plan to be running back and forth a lot. Highly recommend this Hipcamp.

Anthony was a terrific host. The camp sites were private and each of the sites had different features. We stayed at the pond site and it was perfect for our family. The kids spent time catching frogs and turtles in the pond. Keep in mind, with the perks of the pond, you also get the noise of frogs at night which can be deafening. So if you are ultra sensitive to sounds, you should stay in the field site that is further from the pond. At the same time, we did not have a bug problem at all which was a happy surprise. I expected a lot more near the pond. But just a little bug spray and we were good.

The site is about a 5 minute walk from parking. Anthony trucks all your supplies in to the site for you but the hike can be a lot if your not used to it. My legs got a workout.

Overall, I couldn’t say enough good things about our host. We bought some of his maple syrup which was delicious. The kids spent hours playing with the baby chicks and just exploring the grounds. It was a wonderful weekend.

Our tent is Huge (11 person). We had to clear some space but it fit and we still had room for cooking area and seating. This is pond site.

Anthony was an amazing host. Very communicative, engaging, and super nice. His help moving our gear up to the site was very appreciated... as well as his delivery of logs for the fire and hooking us up with a s’mores kit! Our daughter loved visiting the chickens and baby chicks, also we loved Graham and Petra their dogs. We didn’t venture far but that was the whole idea, to get out of the city and into the green mountain state. Green it was! My only regret was not having a picnic table at our site, for playing cards and other games and having meals out of our camp chairs. There is a communal area down the hill with tables and a grill etc but we chose to stay at our site because it was nicely shaded. All in all it was an awesome stay!

The warmest welcome, and sweetest sanctuary. Anthony really has created a swoon worthy space for campers delight. Self made trails leading to each camp sites, designated parking, additional cookware at the commune, great views, within the rolling hills, and about 15 minutes from downtown Brattleboro. Thank you Anthony!

Keeping this place a secret was tempting so it doesn't get crowded....but i have to hand it to to the host Anthony ....this place is off to a great start!!
Multiple camp sites all around the property
We chose Ridge View site #1 up the hill behind the garage/barn
For those who aren't up to walking up the hill there are field sites as well
No worries about lugging gear...Anthony hauled all of it up to the site with his utv ...and brought it back down too...made it very easy for us
Has a cool rec room above the barn...it was so cool on a warm day there...like natural ac...can charge cell phone/tablet/chargers in there with multiple outlets.
Free coffee, tea, cold water in there too
Dart boards...table games...very nice for a rainy day
Private and communal fire pits...clean outhouse
Trash barrels near sites....potable water available
Just cant say enough good things about the place
Ice cream down the street along with a country store...and even a plaza with Market 32 grocery store...and all sorts of places to eat if you dont feel like cooking sometime
Guilford Fairground is practically across the street too....that would be a great time to book...you could walk to the fair
We were honored to be Maple Ridge Farm's first hipcampers...it felt like Anthony has been at this for years
Also...tons of wood everywhere to burn....nice dry kindling is abundant too
Awesome fire rings...big and heavy duty
So now you know....this place will be a treat in the fall too for sure....

My husband and I loved our stay at Maple Ridge Farm. Anthony was the perfect host. The location is beautiful and our campsite was on a ridge over looking a beautiful field and valley in front of us. We felt like we were the only ones there. The communal Outdoor kitchen was well equipped over and above our expectations. The privy was well kept and not a far walk from our campsite. We had our two golden retrievers with us and they loved having room to run and play in the field . We will definitely come back to Maple Ridge Farm! Oh and the maple syrup is amazing!!

It was clear that this listing had a lot of effort put into it and it was a very nice retreat for us! We had a wonderful time relaxing in the trees and cooking a fresh breakfast in the grill set up that was provided. Our site was clear of leaves and brush upon arrival and Anthony was very helpful and responsive! He would help to bring us logs at our request in a timely fashion and even offered fresh eggs for free for breakfast which were very tasty! Their dogs were a little rambunctious but that wasn't a problem for us. It was nice to spend time with them! Overall we were impressed with the amenities that were available and believe this would be a great place to mingle with fellow campers/friends!
