Had an amazing stay at Jinny’s private farm even with an ongoing pandemic. I really do want to commend Jinny on all the steps she took to ensure social distancing and sanitation efforts she underwent (including ensuring we had private restrooms) to provide not just a beautiful tent site, but also a safe camping experience too. Her description of no bugs but millions of fireflies, yeah couldn’t have been more accurate. Of the two nights we were there I think we came across a single mosquito, but the fireflies outnumbered the stars significantly (of which there were plenty of both!). Our tent site was super private, out of sight if other locations and cabins, as are her other areas. The grass through the meadows is mowed giving you a nice and wide path to your camping area, which all have a picnic table and fireplace (and yes there is firewood available) her property is towards the top of a mountain with a stellar view of The Valley and mountains in the distance below you, which made for one heck of a sunset viewing opportunity. Jinny herself was very easygoing and super caring, she encouraged us to go explore the property and check out all her animals/crops she has (don’t worry, you don’t hear them at your tent sites, nor are they noisy to begin with anyways. Trust me, you’ll sleep like a baby out at your tent it’s that peaceful). If you’re like me, using Apply Maps Tagung north on I-89 from NH, it shows up as arrived at a T-intersection with a continued downhill in front of you and a property to the left. That’s her neighbor (also super sweet woman), keep going past like 100 more yards and you literally see a black mailbox sticking out on the left with the address on it, can’t miss it at all.
All said and done though, my partner and I had an amazing time together at her property, we both loved every bit and do wish we had the capabilities of staying even longer. With that said, this is absolutely a spot we will be returning to again soon. The pictures we got together don’t do justice to what you’re actually able to see. It really is an incredible area.
Peaceful, best tent site view on the property I think! Close to the facilities and firewood...but not too close! Hike in from car isn't too much. The pavilion turned out to be better than expected; we were able to have our campfire and make dinner in the pouring rain one night.
The wildflower site is less than a minute’s walk from the parking area and has easy access to the shower and bathroom, which looked new and clean and had hot water + electricity, which was unexpected and a nice surprise. Like the name, there were plenty of wildflowers in July. I really appreciated how well maintained the camp sites and facilities were.
