Plum Corner Tent Site is tucked away by lovely trees next to the farm orchard. Campers can look up into the tops of an ancient yellow birch and young maples. There is a picnic table, fire pit and tent platform. The site is reached by walking through the plum trees from the parking area. Remember to bring along all your camping gear.
WINTER CAMPING is allowed on the farm either with tents or in our cabin. There is an outhouse only and a cold water source so that means no heat or electricity. Guests will need to do their own snow shoveling. Four wheel drive vehicles are the only reliable access to the farm after snow. Firewood is available so DO NOT bring any with you.
Four Springs Farm is a working organic farm on a beautiful west-facing hillside in central Vermont. Tent and cabin camping sites are tucked away in private corners of the farm with centrally located toilets and hot showers. A picnic pavilion, which has a spectacular view of the valley and the hills of the Green Mtns, is available for group gatherings and.celebrations. Visitors are invited to tag-along-on-chores, pick their own veggies with one of the farmers and explore the seventy acres of fields, streams, and woods. Guests will be dazzled by star-studded skies, treated to spectacular sunsets, and entertained by the two young farm cats. The farm is mosquito free but inhabited by millions of fireflies. It's nature's playground at her best.

The vibe at Plum Corner Tent Site

We couldn't ask for more from our stay at this campsite. It's tucked away in a corner of the farm, more private than many of the conventional campsites I've stayed at. The bathrooms were very clean and spacious with hot water. Bathrooms and parking were both conveniently located close to the campsite but far enough away that our site felt very private. This spot was very peaceful and quiet and surprisingly no mosquitoes but lots of fireflies at night and a spectacular view of the stars. The farm is well located to visit many VT attractions like the Green Mountains, craft breweries, and just an hour drive to Burlington. Upon arrival Jinny offered an assortment of baked goods and fresh eggs available for purchase. What more could we ask for?
I cannot overstate what a wonderful place this is! The setting is gorgeous. The fall foliage was out of this world in early October set up on a hill looking down into a valley with the Green Mountains in the distance. The property is so well taken care of with freshly mowed walking paths, charming hand-painted signs that tell you what is planted where, and a beautiful newly-constructed bath house with electricity, hot showers and even an outdoor kitchen under the cover of a picnic pavilion...perfect for cooking, doing dishes and eating/hanging out if it rains (which it did and it was a lifesaver!) We camped at the Plum Corner tent site but Jinny has several tent sites and several small, rustic but well-cared for cabins for rent, too. You can see the farm house, the bath house and a couple cabins from the tent site but all are far enough away that it felt perfectly private without being eerily remote (we couldn't hear any other campers from our site). The tent playform made for a nice level, dry place to pitch our tent. We camped with our two kids (7 and 9) and we all had a blast! Cannot recommend it more highly! Oh, and a 15 minute drive into South Royalton to eat at The Worthy Burger is a must if you like craft beer and amazing locally-sourced burgers and fantastic fries.
