Description

Can you say “free camping?" The no-fee Cathedral Valley Campground is located halfway on the Cathedral Valley Loop Road, which traverses Capitol Reef’s Cathedral District. While this primitive site might not be fit for the pope, it does have all you need for a night or two of pinyon 'n' juniper-clad camping at 7,000 feet. The site is open year round, but check conditions with the Visitor Center before you commit to staying overnight.

We just camped there and it was great! The six sites filled up fast so don't think You'll' get one if you come in late. The seclusion and campsites were great!
