Want a weekend of camping, while still having access to award-winning wine?  Book a stay at our 4R Campsite.

The 4R campsite is located near the entrance to the ranch overlooking Camp Creek. The ranch is blessed with undulating topography and bluffs overlooking the Red River Valley. Guests can visit our tasting room and sample award-winning wine before retiring for the evening.

Campers should know that Sites #10 and 11 are very close to the shower shed, the toilet shed, electrical outlets and (nonpotable) water spigots.  Firewood is free, and can be found in two locations: (1) under a shed roof attached to the toilet shed; and (2) in a large cage located in the large area designated as campsites 2, 3, and 4.  Our mountain biking and hiking trail is now open.  We are working on the map.

RETURNING CAMPERS PLEASE NOTE:  On August 15, 2020 we renumbered our campsites so they are now in geographical order around the ring road.  Therefore, if you preferred a particular campsite, you need to know that old site #10 is now new site#5, old site #11 is new site #6, old site #5 is now new site #7, old site #6 is now new site #8, old site #7 is new site #9, old site #8 is new site #10, and old site #9 is new site #11.

Lovely surroundings, shade trees, sufficient level spots for tent camping, and enough amenities (port a potty, power, water (to be filtered), to make it a big step up from wild camping. Oh, and the primitive shower is a bonus.

Great place with excellent camping!
It was awesome to hear live music and drink a glass of wine before a hot shower and going to our secluded primitive site!

Amazing stay! We camped three nights in our small RV at site 5 and it was everything we hoped for and more. We came in after dark and were greeted at the tasting room. From there, we were personally guided to our site; stopping along the way to collect (free!) firewood that's stacked next to the shower shed. Our site was private and clean. We hiked the trails and will check out the biking next time. Muenster is a cute little town thats worth a stop in. Our last evening we went up to the tasting room and enjoyed a flight of several of the reds available. Bought a couple of bottles and sat by the fire at our site savoring good wine and an excellent experience. We will definitely be back and can't wait yo share this gem with friends/family

4R offers a unique experience for those who enjoy the outdoors, gravel riding and excellent Texas wine and hospitality at 4R tasting room. A rare find for a week end getaway... showers are convenient and plenty of electrical outlets to keep iPhone and electronics charged up. Campgrounds provide the basics so come equipped. 4R offers a pleasant location to spend some quality time just 15’ from Muenster downtown.

The campground at 4R is great for a quick weekend getaway, even if you don't visit the tasting room (though you should, if just for the sunset view from the deck).

My friends and I do a lot of one-night bike-camping trips in the DFW area. When you're travelling by bike, amenities like a shower and provided fire-wood just make the weekend so much better. You can get that at a state park, but what you can't get is a campground all to yourself that is almost completely silent after 8pm. It was perfect.

This is one of the best camping experiences I have ever had. We basically had a private campground on a beautiful vineyard, what's better than that! The hosts were insanely accommodating and went out of their way to help us multiple times. We will be back for sure.

What an amazing opportunity to stay at a winery! Walt was kind and accomodating for this late arrival. Showers and sinks were well lit with warm water. Strongly recommend based on price and amenities. Next time staying for the wine tasting!

Walt and the entire 4R Ranch staff are exceptional, and the ranch is beautiful. We camped for two nights and will definitely be returning as frequently as we can. There was plenty of flat, grassy room to park a small camper van (ours is 18') or pitch tents, most of it in at least partial shade.

The ranch is such a beautiful setting and the grounds are immaculately kept. There are plenty of dirt roads for biking, and they are building out mountain biking trails that will be open later this year (2019).

The showers at the campsite were excellent, but make sure you bring drinking water and/or a filtration system as the water available at the campsite is not potable.

Oh, and don't forget to visit the wine tasting room nestled on an overlook of the valley at least once or twice. The view is amazing and the wine is excellent!
