Located right by the namesake's memorial and gravesite, you can salute the explorer who channeled these nearby waters so many years ago. Several exhibits also add interest to the site, though we know you weren't only coming for a stellar museum visit. Hike down the Old Natchez Trace, or check out the nearby overlook. With Little Swan Creek and several other trails to tempt you, we have a feeling Meriwether Lewis would be proud.

Absolutely beautiful and secluded. Due to being so rural, can be rough during tick season. Be sure to bring spray.

This campground is a gem! The campsites are beautiful and surrounded by trees, the bathrooms were BY FAR the cleanest camp bathrooms I have ever seen, and it's totally FREE! We are looking forward to staying at the other Natchez Trace campgrounds on our way south.
