Great spot, well maintained, helpful host, clear instructions. "Camping" without the hassle - definitely helped us out as an overnight stop with kids.

Lovely tent but no peace and quiet
Tent was lovely with the front porch area and rocking chairs. Bed was comfortable and host was thoughtful with welcome basket of essentials. We were extremely disappointed however that nowhere in the listing did it mention that on evenings when there would be a wedding that it would be SO LOUD from the music and MC. We weren’t informed by the host that they were hosting a wedding that night until it was too late to cancel. We chose this over a hotel so we could enjoy the porch and a fire in the country quiet, but it was so loud we should have just stayed in a hotel and saved some money. If you want peace and quiet this is not the place.

So picturesque!
This tent was amazing for my family of 5! We stayed for 4 nights and absolutely loved it. The sunrises were stunning and the blooming tree in the centre of the three tents was captivating. The property manager was easy to reach when things came up and they were flexible to meet our needs. The propane for the heater wasn’t included so we had to figure that out, but that was pretty much the only hiccup. The location is amazing, beds are comfy, and the animals were lovely. Thanks so much for such a lovely stay!

100% recommend
I love this tent/cabin it was so relaxing, so comfortable my sons and I both discussed it and it would be something that we would even invested. The campsite was clean and tidy. It was so nice to have a portable electrical unit to charge phones as well as the heater. This is a 10 out of 10.

Beware of double bookings
Our experience was humiliating and exhausting. We drove 6 hours round trip to camp only to discover the tent had been double booked. We booked the tent on hipcamp website on Sept 24th. On October 31st the host used the hipcamp app to try to inform us our tent was double booked, however we were not aware of a hipcamp app and were not notified by email. There also was 1 phone call by the host but my VM isn’t set up and no text messages were received. Additionally, hipcamp emailed us on Nov 14th to confirm and prepare us for our trip on Nov 19th. 1.Beware of double bookings and no notice that your trip has been cancelled. 2.We walked in on another camper and that could be you that’s getting walked in on. I would have been terrified if someone just started unzipping my tent. 3. Six hours in a car and $100 in gas wasted is no fun.
We did get a refund but only after we requested it and no consideration for our time and money spent on gas. I do wonder why we had to request a refund on Nov 19th if the host knew the tent was double booked on Oct 31st. Shouldn’t a refund automatically have been given? AND a refund would have been indication that our trip was cancelled, thus saving us from an exhausting drive and embarrassment.
