Valley View Camping is a 10-acre property, bordered by the magical Eungella National Park. Our place makes a great base to explore the remarkable Finch Hatton Gorge and its many waterfalls, lush flora and volcanic boulders.
We have two large, flat, grassed paddocks with sweeping mountain views. We offer up to six campsites, all accessible for any type of vehicle, and you choose where you want to pitch/park on arrival. Both paddocks have easy access to flushing toilets and hot showers. However, the lower paddock has our playground and undercover areas.
Your own pets are welcome, we just ask you to please pick up after them.
Campfires are permitted in the 2 designated firepits, or if you have your own firepit, brazier or similar. Bring your own firewood.
We welcome campers here to enjoy our stunning and peaceful corner of the world, so no loud music please and generators off between the hours of 10pm - 8am.

The campsite offers a peaceful and scenic setting, perfect for those looking to explore nearby natural attractions like Finch Hatton Gorge and Eungella National Park. Guests appreciate the hot showers and flushing toilets, although some mention they could use more frequent cleaning. While most reviews highlight the site's tranquility and beautiful views, there are comments about the grounds being a bit rundown, with some areas needing maintenance. Overall, it's a convenient spot for nature enthusiasts, but don't expect luxury facilities.
Valley View Farm is a lovely spot for a camp. Super easy access to the beautiful Finch Hatton Gorge.
Fantastic price and great clean toilet+shower.
Not too far a drive to the Eungella National Park either, great chance to see platypus in the wild 😍
there was no shade in the paddock and a lot of weeds that were in seed and got all over everything
the lights from both the neighbour opposite and the house next door were very intrusive at night
other than that it was ok
Nice and quiet, close to Gorge. Paddock in front yard with two levels, both with a toilet and shower available. Amenities clean enough, quite a lot of all furniture/broken bits and bobs hanging around. Could definitely do with some new shade clothes over communal tables as they are completely ripped. Overall good stay for an overnighter to visit the national parks and local area.
Good grassy level campsite value for the money very close to finch Hatton gorge. We had the whole place to ourselves. Downside would be be that it’s a bit rundown and unloved and not real clean bit like an abandoned place.
Beautiful spot in the valley close to the nearby gorge and well situated to visit the nearby national park to see some Platypus. There are hot showers and flush toilets. The only thing was that it needed a bit of TLC from the owners. There's a rusted bit of children's playground equipment next to a long table with chairs and a hole in the roof. To be honest they don't need to exist. They sort of take away from the natural beauty of the place. Plus, I don't think the bins are emptied or bathrooms cleaned too much. It was very quiet though and the other guests were respectful so that didn't matter. It was well worth the money and I'd recommend to others.
Really nice site very close to Finch Hatton gorge. Very picturesque, good facilities and open space ideal for any type of rig. Unfortunately, there was a town wide power cut while we were there so we couldn't get a shower as there was no water but I can't really fault the site for that. I know the shower did work because someone else got one before the power went off. Friendly cows in the field at the side, separated by fence. And space for fire in the middle.
We absolutely loved our recent stay at Kassie’s property! Central to all of the points of interest in the area, and plenty of space to enjoy the serenity of the incredible landscape around you. With flushing toilets and showers, our stay was made even more comfortable. This place is 100% recommended to anyone who loves a quiet getaway in paradise!
Views were beautiful. It was quiet and the amenities were very good. We really enjoyed spending a couple of nights there and the day in Finch Hatten Gorge. Definitely a good location from which to visit the gorge. We were up early and had the tracks in the gorge to ourselves for most of the morning.
Directions were spot on! Great price
Loved it had showers & toilets you just have to share it with the spider webs . The grass was beautiful & lush under foot, will be back .😀
It was so peaceful, lots of space and the animals curious! The bathroom was clean, well equipped and the water hot! Ground great for a tent, just be mindful of ticks.
We loved our 2 night stay at Valley View. It was a great location for the Araluen Cascades, Eungella, and the Finch Hattan MTB park. So good waking up to views across the Gorge and over green fields with cows grazing. Amenities were really handy. Can't fault this little hip camp.
We loved camping at Valley View. Beautiful open grassed space for our young son and our dog to run freely on and perfectly clean and suitable amenities. Also helps that it is in a gorgeous part of the world. Thank you so much for having us.
Good level site, ammenities were clean, water was hot.
The road is close by but there’s not much traffic and practically none after dark.
It is a great place for a few nights and close to the gorge walking track.
The views were stunning, with plenty of space for both our dog and our campsite. The location was perfect, with Finch Hatton Gorge just up the road. The amenities were clean and well maintained, and the grounds were spacious and peaceful. We had a fantastic stay and will definitely be back. Loved it!
Wonderful spot. The view was lovely. Close to the Gorge where there were 2 creeks to swim in. Close to Eungella Range where we saw platypus.
Lots of space between campers. Hot showers.
Best campsite, so much freedom. Just book on hipcamp, arrive and park where you want. Toilets were clean and hot water worked well for shower. Nice views, quiet and peaceful
It was a lovely spot, plenty of room for other campers. The facilities were clean, lovely hot shower. Very peaceful. I didn't get much phone service though which made it hard to stay in touch with family.
Enjoyed our stay at Valley View. Good proximity to Hatton Gorge and easy access to drive to Eungella NP. Good sightings of platypus at Broken River in Eungella NP. Having flushing toilets and hot showers was a great bonus. Kassie is very quick to address any issues.
Loved camping. It was a fabulous location so close to finch hatton gorge and finch Harte. Town and a 30 minute drive to Eungella national park. The toilets and showers were clean and tidy. Thank you for our stsy
