Kent and Iza are a lovely couple. They are hard workers that are trying to make their land work for them and diversifying their land in to several projects- and that is really admirable. I would say that while they have some parts of the farm in great shape with beautiful features, such as the pond, the barn and the view to the mountain, there are other parts that truly are a working farm and all the things that come with that. We had booked the Shady Tent site 6 and I had put that we have a pop up camper but when we arrived, it was clear that the pop up camper would not be able to park near the shady tree - it truly is a tent only site and we ended up in the field nearby. In retrospect, I wish I had read the listing a little better and consider it my own fault. The field has little shade, so hot in the sun, but would be great if you have lots of sun awnings and/or ways to keep cool. Where we were on the field, which is truly an open field that was once an airstrip, there was not a firepit nearby, so we were not able to do a fire at night. The bathroom is a little walk from the field, but not that big of a deal. The bathroom was clean with 3 toilets and one shower stall. There is an additional outside toilet that has a mirror. There are other campers on the property, including some people who have this as their permanent residence. All of them were really nice, kind, and accommodating, but it was not quite as remote as I had expected. Despite this, it was quiet.

Wonderful experience! Very clean and beautiful campgrounds. Great shower and bathroom set up. Lots of farm animals for the kids to enjoy and beautiful pond. Would definitely recommend to others for great camping.

Back Acreage Grass area Site 13

Stayed over 4th of July weekend with 3 of my 4 grandkids at site 13 and we had a great time! Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. There weren’t many campers, but Kent and Iza invited us over with the ranch residents to watch the fireworks and we had a lovely time. Kent was great and so helpful with all of the kids, giving them sparklers and helping them with the smaller fireworks before the “big show”. We were able to feed the livestock and even encountered a wandering piglet over at our campsite one afternoon and the following morning. The kids were beside themselves with joyful laughter during his visits. Lots of wonderful memories made this weekend, we will absolutely be back again.

Recommend the greenhouse!

We stopped here for 1 night on our way out to the Oregon coast. What a beautiful farm. The hostess was so nice! We stayed in the greenhouse and it was so hot out, but they have a fan in there that does a really good job of keeping it cool in there.

The addition of Window covers in the greenhouse should be a priority for the owners in order to ensure the comfort of their guests as it gets as hot as a sauna in there. Also, it desperately needs a deep Cleaning!

I enjoyed my stay here, the cows, pigs, horses and pond… best of all flushing toilets and really nice shower. I was a little confused with no signage for campsites but photo was accurate for the view from your camp so I figured it out. Iza was very helpful and her kids are adorable… highly recommend!!!

Beautiful ranch in Wapato

I booked a site here last minute to spend the night in my older Sprinter van. Here’s the deal there can be a lot going on here!! It’s a farm/ranch and wedding venue! I’ve spent time in small town Mexico and the ranch is reminiscent of my experiences there. That all being said, the host, Kent is a very nice person and super responsive. I showed up and got in without a hitch. I stayed at site #1 and plugged in with 120v cord at the bathroom. There were doggies and chickens (and not many people) so I prepared for early cockle doodle do’s! At 3:55am it happened- at first light. I put in my AirPods with some sleep music and then slept on until 7am. Honestly it was the best sleep I’ve had in months! I really spent only a short time here like 8pm until 8am but was thoroughly charmed by the people and the entire vibe. I’m an Airbnb owner too so I get how much work hosting can be!

We had an amazing stay at this incredible spot! The 1-bedroom setup in the greenhouse was super cozy, but the gorgeous property completely stole the show with its beautiful pond and so many great spots to take photos. We loved seeing the horses, pigs, and chickens, and grilling up an awesome BBQ made the trip perfect. We will definitely be back!

We are so thankful for our time at the ranch. Kent and Iza were so kind and hospitable, and everyone was laid back and friendly. My kids and I loved spending time feeding and petting the pigs and horses. There was also an abundance of chickens and ducks which were fun to watch. They let my kids jump in the bounce house they happened to have for a party. We were given a spacious area to camp in the back pasture near some trees. There is a pond on site that you can swim in, and also the Yakima River is fairly close by. We enjoyed being away from the city and spending time outdoors with the animals. On our first night the sky was mostly clear and I could see so many stars. We appreciate the privilege of staying at Willow Barn Ranch and we look forward to visiting again sometime!

This farm is my children's and maybe my own dream. A pond to fish in, chickens, ducks and little piggies running amuck, under our trailer and through camp. Water/electric space is tight with slides and leaves no space for outdoor relaxation at your camper as it is along a driveway to the back of the property, but the grounds have beautiful shady spots near the pond to relax under.

Kent was very friendly and led me directly to the spot when I arrived. The space was cute and well maintained. I stayed under the oak tree and it was quite lovely. No pigs came by, but the roosters were pecking and squawking all around the grass. It was kinda rad, but being ear plugs if you want to avoid them!

I came in late and Kent was very helpful in showing me my camping site. I lived for years in Seattle so a county life camping trip was just what my soul needed. The pond with the geese was so welcoming after my long drive. My dogs enjoyed the beautiful green field and all the new scents to soak in. As I feel asleep in my tent under a crescent moon, the pond frogs and crickets were like a live wildlife orchestra. The wind in the trees, the fresh air …… all these elements came together as a memorable adventure. I want to return with my grandkids.

Such a lovely place! We stayed here for a night while passing through on a road trip and we're so glad we did. Amazing views, clean toilets and shower, and surrounded by animals, it was perfect. Would love to return and see how this little farm develops :)

It is a beautiful place the chickens, ducks, and piglets running around going about their business were great to watch. Listening to the birds in the morning and evening are a great way to wake up and fall asleep.

Wonderful Expierence at the Ranch

We woke up to the blissful sound of roosters. The vibes at Willow Barn Ranch are amazing. They supplied us with free firewood. Very spacious. We went in the winter and it was goregous I can't imagine the beauty in spring or summer. The hosts were so nice and helpful. Really can't beat this place for the price.

Our second time here: ,one time we’re by the lovely big pond., complete with waterfowl; and this time we've enjoyed a remote spot in the grassy field. A beautiful rural location. Quiet and peaceful. And they’ve added a new toilet n washing station. Piglets were adoring!

Hi guys, though really liked the greenhouse concept, we did not sleep within the bedding just on top. The sheets were dirty. The floor were filthy and ok cob webs. I suggest do not provide bedding at all, I have a hip camp and we use a vinyl mattress cover that I just have to wipe down and our guest bring their own bedding. You guys had some party come in that’s gonna plan. I don’t know a wedding or whatever but every single person stopped and asked us where to go. Which interrupted our time there., it would’ve been nice to have had the grass mowed where we were at only because when we had to walk to the bathroom in the middle of the night, our feet got soaking wet from the dew from the tall grass. And may I suggest just putting some solar lights down there so you can see inside and maybe even a solar fan in the window. These are just some things that I provide in my Hip Camp. And it would be nice to know that there were permanent residence on the property so that as we were exploring where we thought were other campgrounds we were invading other people‘s privacy. And your dog barked at all all evening and often thru out the night… I think you have a potential of a great place there. it looks like you guys have been having a successful business and I’m not complaining. I’m just giving you suggestions.Thanks for having us!
