Dew Valley Ranch Nature Retreat is a Private Membership Association dedicated to providing a peaceful, nature-filled experience to rejuvenate your mind, body, and soul. We specialize in private camping and unique glamping options, with each site offering an acre or more of wooded land and a private potty, ensuring a high level of privacy that you won’t find in traditional campgrounds. Face Rock State Beach is just a short 10-minute drive away. Here, you’ll meet friendly farm animals, explore scenic trails through the woods, enjoy games, a camp community garden, hot showers, and a heated dishwashing station. We’re located only 10 minutes from the charming Bandon by the Sea, where you’ll find fun shopping, a crabbing dock, world-class golfing, Whiskey Run mountain biking trails, West Coast Game Park, horseback riding on the beach, Circles in the Sand, excellent restaurants, and of course, beautiful beaches. Dew Valley is absolutely beautiful! The campsites are far apart and very private, especially Mushroom, and the goats and the yard games are a lot of fun. The outdoor hot showers and sauna were super nice on a drizzly day! Heather and Nathan are the nicest people and make sure your trip is a great experience. Can’t wait to go back!

Charming place with an amazing hot

Huckleberry Stunning Wooded Cabin

The Huckleberry was so charming! Quiet, peaceful and relaxing stay with a hot tub, and 2 fire pit options. The host’s were so kind and attentive. A delicious breakfast was served out on the deck of the amazing property. We enjoyed watching the chickens, goats, horse and pig in and around the farm. Highly recommend this place and hope to return in the future.

Octopus wooded campsite

I highly recommend staying here! The retreat is well-located, but tucked away, and this particular camp site is great! It's quiet, spacious, and private, and the composting toilet was really clean! I liked meeting and chatting with Heather for a bit when I got there. And then I got to meet other guests who return year after year; I hope to be like them and return one day myself!

Quiet Get-Away

Knappin Haus Cabin secluded by Pond

This was a perfect get-away for my husband and me. It was quiet, peaceful, and private. But it was also so friendly! Our hosts were lovely to talk to and made an amazing breakfast (optional by request). This was more than glamping. We even enjoyed a dip in the hot tub. The hosts have taken care to make their accommodations comfortable and welcoming.

Hobit House Quaint Cabin in Woods

My time at the Hobbit Hole was beautiful, relaxing, cozyn and ir felt remote while still being close to town! All the information you need is provided upon arrival at check in and in your cabin. You will be kindly welcomed by the hosts when you arrive. Once you know the process of the gate, it is easy to get in and out when it is locked. I really enjoyed the outdoor hot tub and showers; they were perfect temperature! The cabin is clean and warm (has a heater) and you don't need to bring sheets, they are provided! I am glad I brought my own personal blanket for use outside by the fire pit. If bugs like you, bring some deterrent for the skeeters. If you plan to use the fireplace, it is helpful to bring or create (out of firewood you brought or bought) your own kindling. Luckily, I had a lantern for outdoor use to walk to the hot tub in the dark. It can be hard to see the pathway behind the cabin without one. Ifelt safe and comfortable here. This was the perfect stay. Enjoy! It is worth it. 🙃

The Alseides private wooded Yurt

The Aldridges hit was wonderful! Privacy, charm, comfort, serenity: all as advertised! Will definitely be coming back to the yurt or any other of the great cabins or campsites. We also appreciate Heather and Nathan’s warm hospitality and good humor. It’s nice to stay somewhere you feel welcome!

Bumblebee Wooded campsite

Wonderful spot for privacy, quiet, birdwatching and relaxing! We saw dozens of bird species on the lovely wooded lands, on which we were free to roam. We slept soundly in quiet interrupted only by owls, frogs and the distant sound of the ocean. The private composting outhouse was a real bonus and the hot shower was an amazing treat. The hosts really know how to do it right -- they provided everything you could need and were nice, scarce and attentive to servicing the outhouse when we weren't around. Extra bonus in the sweet horse, goats, pigs, chickens and guinea fowl roaming. Delightful get away!

Octopus wooded campsite

I love this place! I’ve stayed twice and the sites are quiet and private. I love the outdoor showers and the animals. If I had kids, I would definitely bring them here. Heather and her partner are kind and helpful. You are close to everything in Bandon but feel like you’re off the grid.

Mushroom cozy wooded campsite

10/10 would recommend! Such a wonderful campsite and amazing hosts! Check in/out was so simple and the hosts were extremely helpful! I was also extremely impressed by the outhouses. They were by far the cleanest and nicest compostable toilets I’ve ever used. Each site had their own private outhouse. The shower and dish wash station were also clean and easy to use :)

Jellyfish wooded knoll

Jellyfish knoll was a great site. It is a big open site surrounded by trees and away from the other sites so lots of privacy. The hot outside showers were awesome and clean. From the site, they are a little farther than other sites but I didn’t find it to be an issue at all. The composting toilet at the site was spotless and a great convenience. This was a lovely spot with the quirkiness of free roaming farm animals. I absolutely recommend staying here!

Loved the Hobbit Home!

Hobit House Quaint Cabin in Woods

The site, location, and hosts were all amazing! We loved the privacy, private bathroom and shower, coziness of the hobbit house, fire pit, nighttime lights, decorations, and so many other aspects of the stay! The site requires check-in between 4 and 8 PM, which can be tough driving a long distance in traffic, but the check in and check out processes were super easy and the hosts communicated great. We unfortunately were having too much fun we failed to put in our breakfast order the night before leaving, but are sure it would've been great. We hope to return next year!

Wonderful, peaceful setting with friendly hosts. Convenient to Bandon with nice showers. Next time I’m going to try one of the cabins but the campsites were great!

A lovely property, beautiful campsites with open of privacy. Fun to drive through and follow the signs to our spot. Everything was super clean, and very detail was so thoughtful down to the solar night lights in the outhouse (cleanest most lovely composting toilet experience ever!!) Very friendly, easy communication with host!

Seahorse cozy wooded site

This place was very welcoming! Seahorse offered a lot of privacy and a great clearing for setting up. The individual compost toilets was a nice touch, as it was private and clean. The showers were clean and easy to use. It was so fun to see the animals wandering around! They had some lawn games to play set up and were very kind upon arrival (:

Glowing review of the Glowing Lotus

Glowing Lotus Fairytail Tent

Private, comfortable and relaxing. The entire property was quiet and it was clear that all creature comforts were thought of well in advance and the careful planning and use of space was greatly appreciated. The lotus tent itself was very clean and warm at night thanks to the heated mattress pad, though it wasn't needed every night in August. The weather was great and a perfect time to visit the Dew Valley Ranch. Easy check-in & check-out procedures are a bonus! Plus a delicious homemade breakfast!?! Score! The hosts are lovely and very welcoming. We would highly recommend this property for anyone seeking a little R&R :)

Comfortable Knappin!

Knappin Haus Cabin secluded by Pond

Wow! All I can say is I hope Heather and Nathan still have available spots next year. We had the best time! We stayed in Knappin House and the bed was so comfortable! We had everything we needed. Breakfast was amazing- best salsa I’ve ever had. Super clean, great recommendations, super sweet hosts. BEAUTIFUL LAND and VERY comfortable accommodations

This is a really special place that we thoroughly enjoyed! Loved Ricky the horse looking to meet us along with the s’mores brothers goats that followed him around. We had a great little tent spot (camp mushroom) that worked perfect for our sprinter Van. So peaceful and quiet. As mentioned, the private outhouse is impeccably clean and a great offering. The other lodging options ( cabin, hobbit house, and yurt) are also tucked away around the property and look like great options. We were a quick drive from the town of Bandon so we ventured out to see the cute little town and hit some golf balls at the famed Bandon Dunes. This was a perfect two night camp over in our rig as part of our nine day Oregon coast trip.. I highly recommend! I think the website may actually show more details on the individual campsites than I could see here on the app so take a look there if you are curious about the Dew Valley Ranch 😊

Hobit House Quaint Cabin in Woods

I had such a pleasant stay at the Hobbit cabin. It's just as cute in person and the outdoor seating area is really nice and feels private. I bet it's beautiful in the Spring when all those rhododendrons are in bloom. The beaches nearby are wonderful too and the little beach town is conveniently close. Definitely wish I had one more day!

It is a lovely place to camp, with lots of privacy. The showers and the composting toilet are extremely clean. We loved watching the goats from our campsite. Would definitely recommend

Remote wooded location but close to beach and town, campgrounds maintained, sites were private. Amenities were great - warm showers, dishwashing, private bathrooms. We loved the animals that said hi in the morning :)

Glowing Lotus Fairytail Tent

Heather and Nathan have created something very special. The pictures don’t do it justice, you truly have to stay to fully understand how well thought out and serene their property is throughout. Many guests I spoke with were on their fifth or sixth year in a row, which says everything you need to know. This was one of the best camping experience I’ve ever had! Book any of the sites and you won’t be disappointed. Thank you for the fantastic hospitality!

Octopus wooded campsite

Honestly my favorite private campground I've even discovered. Spacious, secluded, a beautiful view of the stars, close drive to the ocean, composting toilets and showers clean and fresh and maintained daily, warm hospitality on arrival. Really a class act all around.
