Heritage Farms is a 5th generation, 115-acre farm located in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Our primitive campsites are located along the boundaries of the SE portion of the property. We have worked hard to place sites so there is privacy with beautiful views. Some tent sites are just feet from the park boundary. We are a working Christmas Tree farm, so our tree fields are the backdrop for all of our camping sites. Sites 4,6,7, 9 and 10 have trees perfect for hanging hammocks. If you are looking for a site with afternoon shade try Sites 2, 3,4,5,6,9 and 10. Site 1 has an A Frame platform shelter. Sites 11 and 12 are for sun lovers. Camp site 7 gives you a little bit of sun, shade and the sounds of the creek . Every site provides you with either a gorgeous sunrise, a beautiful sunset or both. The sunsets at Heritage Farms are awesome.
During this time of Covid 19 we require that masks, worn correctly, be worn in all public areas such as parking areas, restroom areas, at the charging station and on all public trails leading to our camp sites. We also ask that no trash be left at campsites. Please take it home with you or deposit it in the dumpster in our parking area. Due to county health department regulations, you must bring in all water. There are 4 portable toilets in shady spots near the parking area. There is plenty of parking in our parking area.. Firewood can be purchased at Heritage Farms by using our PAYPAL QR Code posted throughout the farm.
At the Information booth you will find charging stations for charging your electronics and plugs for the electric pump on your air mattress. We do not allow generators in any of our camp sites. Also at the Info Booth you will find Camp Rules, Emergency Information, CVNP Trail maps and fliers about Heritage Farms.
WITH PRIOR PERMISSION, from Heritage Farms, you may even bring your dog. We limit the number of dogs on the property and ONLY dogs who have been ok'd at the time of reservation are allowed on the property. Bring your dog's rabies tag number as there is a dog registration form you must fill out. Unvaccinated dogs are not allowed.
The small village of Peninsula is a short 1/4 mile walk from the farm. There are 2 restaurants, a great music venue, hike and bike trails, and the Cuyahoga Valley National Park right at our door step. Review for site 9. It was raining when we arrived and Carol met us at the car to introduce herself and give us directions to our site. The site was perfectly off by itself with great pines to hang our hammock, a large firepit, picnic table and wood wrapped in a plastic bag. We set up and called an Uber to a concert at Blossom Music Center and came back to fall asleep to the sound of crickets and woke up to birds, bees and the sun shining into our tent. The 12 sites are spaced out across the beautiful property and while there were other guests our site was very private . The portable restrooms are very clean and near the parking lot. The overall location is perfect for time spent in the Cuyahoga Valley National Park and after a long hike, we came back to nap under the pines until we built a fire with the bundle of wood that was dropped off while we were hiking. Beautiful location, kind host and great two nights spent under the stars. We will be back.

We were only here overnight but absolutely loved it. The hosta are friendly and each sotw has its own charm.
I had a great experience, good spacing between campsites, provided firewood, great walking path. Would go again 10/10

The camp was perfect. Close to town if you like to go out to eat, and close to trails from the park. The host was fantastic and super helpful. If we ever are in that area again heritage farms is where we will camp!

Thank you, Tricia, We would love to have you visit us again.
Carol was a fantastic host- very kind and welcoming. The farm is a gorgeous place to relax and enjoy being outside!

Anna, I really appreciate that you took the time to write a review. Thank you for staying with us and please come back soon.
Camping Among the Pines is a quiet, peaceful spot to unwind after any activity in CVNP. We attended a concert at Blossom and after we finally found our way into an Uber, it was easy to find with the address provided. The hosts were very accommodating and everyone on the property was very friendly.

Hi Brittany, I'm glad you had a good stay here. We just recently learned that Uber is a great way to go to concerts at Blossom Music Center from the farm. Your quiet peaceful spot is here waiting for you. We hope you'll come back to visit us soon.
