The site was very beautiful and private. Paul and Angela were super welcoming and sweet, and easy to communicate with. The location is great with lots of hikes and swimming spots a short drive away (we went to Ellacoya state beach and Piper Mountain). Would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Paul was a gracious host! We arrived as two separate parties and he and his wife Angela showed both of us around their lovely facilities separately! Loved getting to learn more about how they decided to live a farm oriented lifestyle!

The campsite itself was absolutely lovely. There was a solar shower and a toilet within easy access, and a private firepit. Our July 4th stay was absolutely stunning owing to a giant full moon and eclipse. We also had a lovely pond right next to our campsite.

Definitely recommend this place - we hope to return soon!

Loved our little spot on the farm! Paul was great and the site was immaculate. Paul provided dish soap, disinfectant, water, and some wash bowls. Camp toilet was clean and easy to use. Aninal-proof trash bin also provided!

I loved all the sounds at night - lots of toads in July! We played with all the farm animals the next morning. Too cute!

Only thing to watch out for is bugs - being next to a pond means lots of bugs at night. We brought a citronella candle, bug spray and red lights on our headlamps. Was fine then. But be sure not to use white light!

Campfire was great. Convenience store down the street sold a bundle for $6. Lots of dry kindling around to get it going with ease.

Will definitely return!

We spent a great weekend on the Arandano Farm. It is a beautiful and quiet place were you can go and immediately disconnect from mundane stress. And yet, there are lots of attractions and things to do just minutes away. Our kids loved the farm and it's animals and plenty of places to discover.
Paul is super attentive.

We loved our stay at the Farm Pond campsite! It was a lovely, private spot tucked away in a corner of a beautiful field next to a little pond. The site itself was clean and spacious. Paul and Angela welcomed us upon arrival and showed us around the campsite. We were given a jug of potable water, and there was a fire pit, picnic table, trash/recycling cans in a storage container, and a tidy compostable toilet in a outhouse-style tent for privacy. Paul even provided laminated sheets that had info about the campsite and surrounding area (ie. restaurants, resources, things to do, maps). We loved sitting around the fire and meeting the sheep! The hosts were very accessible and helpful. I would absolutely book this campsite again!

The sheep grazing in the field—just a quick walk up from the campsite!

Successful first toddler trip

This was our first Hipcamp stay and our first camping trip with our toddler, and it was a great experience all around, from the very beginning of the booking. Paul G. is SO responsive and welcoming, even over text! He was quick to answer any questions I had and I was reassured that we'd be in good hands when we arrived.
The site itself is a small clearing in a corner of his farm with a sheep pen a little ways up (probably 50 yards away) and the sheep were so charming and NOT too noisy at all! Very clean and nicely set up, the shade was great, the pond wasn't too buggy in high summer and the frogs were a great background. The outhouse system was perfect for us and Paul explained everything really clearly. It's a much bigger area than I had thought from the pics!
The one thing to watch out for are the two ducks, Quackers and Waffles. They call the campsite home, too, and our toddler tried to make friends with them a little too aggressively. They ran off to join the sheep eventually, but it was a little tense for a time (not their fault!). However, there is a lot of duck poop to keep an eye out for.
Paul came around to warn us that night of the black bear spotted in the area and helpfully removed some of the trash. Again, a really helpful and attentive host!
We didn't do the farm tour but would the next time!

Hey Vijay! Glad you guys enjoyed your stay! Thanks for the feedback about the ducks. They're new here and we thought they'd like swimming in the pond better than sitting under the picnic table! I just checked the site and it appears clean, so if you did that, thanks! The ducks have already been relocated so it shouldn't be a problem going forward. Thanks again!

We had a great time here. Beautiful spot, very convenient, clean, private, etc. The hosts were great and friendly and made sure we had water and sanitizer every day. They let us know about a pond down the road that we could all go swimming at that was great. We'll defenitely be coming back.

This camp site was really great! Paul was very welcoming and we felt comfortable our entire stay. The site was bigger than expected and was very private. Paul provided water, an outdoor toilet, access to firewood, fire pit, and soap/hand sanitizer. Overall, we found the site to be very relaxing and it exceeded our expectations. Thanks Paul!
