Malibu RV is set on a coastal bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Malibu, California. Founded in the 1970s, Malibu RV offers RV Sites, Van Sites and Tent Camping, a communal ambiance, and a reprieve from the hustle and bustle of your travels along the California Coast. Whether you are a digital nomad, a surfer looking to shack up for the night, or an adventurer looking for an extended stay, we would love to have you. Guests must be a minimum of 21 years of age to book and check-in. We love dogs and welcome many breeds; however, our insurance policy does not permit Pit Bull–type breeds or mixed breeds. This is an insurance requirement beyond our control, and we appreciate your understanding.

The views here at UNREAL!! We would definitely recommend getting a site with the ocean view. Upon arrival, there was live music and small shop with very friendly staff. Free coffee was offered in the morning. The bathrooms and showers were nice. This campsite is definitely not private (we were basically right on top of our neighbors) but everyone staying around us were very sweet and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Loved this spot! Met some really nice folks staying there and surprise surprise - the mini store was not over priced. Can’t wait to come back when the new center is done. A def gem.

We have been to Malibu RV Park several times to tent camp in one of their sites - it's GORGEOUS there, and very centrally located. I would assume we will be back soon. Facilities are always clean and well cared for, and there was live music on Saturday night down at the little camp store (which is super cute!) Extra special shout-out to night security this time for enforcing quiet hours promptly when the campsite next to ours got a little rowdy after hours.

Our night at Tent No View at Malibu RV Park was awesome! At check-in, the guy gave us a map of the campground and showed us how to walk down to Malibu Seafood - he said they close at 7pm and we'd get 10% off if we showed them our camping pass. We had packed ramen to eat that night, but we couldn't resist the deal so we made the hike down. Good thing we had a map because we're both directionally challenged - even with it, we made at least 2 wrong turns (my friend's fault, not mine). We passed some well-made wooden signs that said "CAUTION RATTLESNAKES" and couldn't tell if they were meant to warn us or the rattlesnakes. We arrived at Malibu Seafood at 6:40pm and the line was so long that we were worried we wouldn't be able to order. We saw a guy microwaving tortillas from the window. 7pm came and went, and no one came to cut off the line. We looked up their hours online and they actually close at 8pm, hooray! The food was awesome/delicious, and we decided it doesn't matter if they microwave their tortillas because they're a seafood place, not Mexican. On the hike back up to the campsite, we realized we forgot to use the 10% discount...still not over that tbh. It was dark when set up but it's okay cuz we were borrowing my Uncle Geoff's tent, which you throw and it sets itself up (like Fortnite). We took a video of it to show our friends but the biggest reaction we got was "Yo where ru guys?? (crying emoji)". I guess not everyone is cut out for camping life? TY HIPCAMP!

I enjoyed my stay here very much! As others mentioned the sites are close together but just like other beach towns you put as many spots in as you can when you have views like this. I loved the landscaping. It was jaw dropping. The store had a great selection and the music on the weekend was a great plus. This is place is worth every penny.

Extraordinary. More than I’d hoped for to be honest. Hookups for power and water are amazing to have at each site - beyond that the gift shop has actual good stuff like a mini sprouts grocery! and laundry on site is a HUGE bonus. The ocean access right across the road is amazing. And the nonstop sound of the ocean at the campsite is just divine. I extended my stay to be here for ten days and I’ll definitely be back again next spring. The road cycling out the door is world class and the hiking right next door on solstice canyon is magical. I can’t rave about this spot enough.

Can’t recommend the experience enough! We honestly could’ve just been happy with the ocean view from our tent; but the fact that there was WiFi, a clean bathroom and shower, and even a place to clean dishes just made the whole trip feel so relaxing and memorable. Everyone working there was so nice and the vibes all around were just relaxed in a good way. It made you feel like you were on vacation as soon as you arrived.

Awesome site. We got a tent site with no view and could still see the ocean. It was clean. They provide wheelbarrows to haul your stuff to the site as you can’t drive your vehicle to it.

It’s not a camp site away from the luxury of the city. Across the street from the beach and 10 minutes from a grocery store. But its charm is in the quietness that requires you to take a few minutes in appreciation of the present. Took my kids and had the best time, like exotic camping in the back yard. Gone twice in a month this place is a gem. Nothing fancy, but definitely a good weekend trip with friends family or both.
